Harou walked into the arena. He looked about at it's high strung walls. His dual kodachi's clanged in their sheaths as he proceeded through the arena. He stood in the center, awaiting his opponent.
"Hmmm. . .I've not heard of her before, but it's a fight she wants. A new genin too. . . hmm. . . .We'll soon see. . ." Harou looked down, cracking his knuckles as usual, out of habit.

As kari made her way into the arena she chuckled when she saw her opponent. She may have been a genin but she is no ordinary one. And he was about to find out. Little did he know what he was up against. But I guess that is how i feel about him too.

Harou's face grew quite serious in a instant. "What. . .is that her chakra. . .?" He turned his body a little, and looked over his shoulder toward his opponent. A silver tint glistening in his eyes. "Something different about her. . ." He thought as she approached him.

Kari saw as her opponents face when blank once he saw her. She smiled menacingly. She took a step and blazed off with lightning speed.

Harou's eyes grew wide as the genin suddenly vanished.
"Hmmm. . . .interesting. . . .well I can't see her. . . so. . . ." Harou reached into a second pouch on his hip. He pulled four kunai from the bunch, equipped with bomb tags on the end. What could not be seen was the wire bundled up on the ends as well.
he stood looking around the arena. "Where to throw them. . . . " Harou tossed two kunai from each hand outward. They struck the walls and stuck in them, creating four trip wires. Now through the genins blazing speed it'd be near impossible to stop instantly so one of the four wires would most likely end up being struck, triggering that bomb tag.

She saw the glistening shine that the 4 trip wires had made. She started to run up the walls. She knew that he had planned to reveal where I was. But looks like it didn't work. She had been running even faster getting 8 kunai's ready.

After a moment Harou realized that the trip wires were not working. He pulled them, creating for explosions to give him time to prepare for his next attack. He stood there, his eyes closed, listening to his surroundings.
He listened to his suroundings. He heard her feet hitting a hard surface up above. Luckily with the fast movements, her feet would have to be pounding the surface so hard that he could hear.
"She must be running along the walls. . ." He thought as he took a deep breath. He began clearing his mind as Soul had taught him. Putting himself in a self meditative state. He could sense in blurs where she was, it was as though she was jumping around the stadium. It was hard to impact her exact location, however, she kept a constant speed. He used the kunai he threw into the wall as a counter to tell where she was in relation to the time count of her steps.
"1. . .2. . .3. . .4. . .1. . .2. . .3. . .4. . " Harou was whispering the count to himself. He reached into his first pouch, pulling four normal kunai. He took two in each hand, tapping them against his leg, whispering to himself still. He counted this time in eighths, cutting the count in half. "1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 1 and 2 and 3 and!" On the and of each beat he threw the kunai before his original count, placing it directly where she would be, getting rid of all four kunai.

As Kari saw that he started to meditate. She thought... This is my chance She ran as fast as he ever did and kicked him high up in the air. She smirked and jumped up with him to give him the kick of his life.

Harou looked up as the young girl was in the air. She was flying through the air. And since there was no way to change ones speed, she was completely vulnerable to any attacks.
Harou drew an arch with a line connecting both ends as well as a few lines with triangles on the end of them. "Chakra blacksmith, Ketushai!" He called out as the lines he drew took form. He grasped the bow and grabbed an arrow before it fell to the ground with the other two. He pointed the arrow at the now free floating genin and shot the arrow straight at he left shoulder. Since she was moving, Harou took the assumption that the arrow would strike her opposite shoulder as she would move while the arrow traveled it's course.

She saw as the arrow was coming towards her. But she wasn't any ordinary genin as I said before. she chuckled. She did some complicated handsigns and yelled out "Ninja Art" Shadow Wind Strike. Then the air started to become visible with a sense of strong darkness. And it deflected the arrow back at him while her jutsu was going at him to.

Harou raised an eyebrow to the young genin.
He smiled and breathed in. "Chakra barrier, ketushai!" His aura solidified enough to deflect both the arrow and her jutsu.
"Nice try." He said simply, watching he in the sky.

She then punched him with all of her might.

the chakra barrier still in tact, average taijutsu such as a punch or a kick would not make it through. If her hand made any remote contact, especially with a good strong punch, it'd be like punching a wall made of pure solid steel. Her hand would break on impact.

"Hmph" She smirked lightly. Have you not noticed I am not an ordinary ninja. I may be new but you shall not take me lightly. I will teach you your lesson right now. I was only going easy on you. She hit the barrier and it started to crack second by second.

The cracks in the barrier began to seal up with ease.
"Hmph. You don't seem to realize what your dealing with." Harou's chakra barrier died down back to his aura. He looked into her eyes as a silver tint glistened in them as they usually did. He waited, his hands at the ready down at his sides and his knees slightly bent.
