So there's this whole crazy viral marketing campaign going on.
Basically, this band called Copeland has been planning some viral marketing for their new album. They had it all set up and stuff, and then noticed that Pete/FOB/FBR had their own viral marketing going on, Citizens For Our Betterment. If you haven't heard of it, The Cab had it scribbled on their guitars during past few shoes, Pete is referencing it in both his blogs (he also calls it 60000) and just a few minutes ago William blogged about it too.
So Copeland sort of hijacked it, by making their own site Citizens Four Our Betterment. And from there, they referenced you to the all the sites they had already set up, like a maze to find out info about their album. Except it wasn't THEIR fans that were finding it, it was Fall Out Boy fans!
So it's like two marketing things got mixed together, which is why it's been so confusing. The drama around it has been funny though, and I'm really curious as to was the FBR part is all about. Hopefully news about a Fall Out Boy album.
Edit: Oh it's explained a lot better here.
Edit again: Now FOBrock is down, Pete's pretending like he doesn't know why, he posted a picture of P. Diddy with a CFOB pamphlet... Crazy crazy. Pete promised an explanation by Monday...

The site now redirects to FOB's FOE page. Which has a downloadable mixtape containing new demos and rare tracks from other FBR/Dd bands. Over HERE. x-posted.

When you save it, the file is a ".zip", that means you can only open it using a certain program. WinRAR is a good program to use, you can download it for free. Or you might already have a program, WinZip maybe...
When you open it with either of those programs, you have to click the button that says "extract" before you can play the songs.
