Village of Oblivion
Among the empty unknown known as Oblivion, there is one city by the name of Aevi, home to everyone who dares to call it so. Mainly inhabited by the daemon race called Shadowmere, the wild are rarely welcome -- if it can't be tamed, it can't stay within city limits.
But the feral Hellhounds aren't the only thing looked down upon...
On the very border of town, down an old back alley, are a pair of small shops. They are nameless, as are the people who maintain them-- Elves: Timeless beings.
Unlike the Shadowmere, Elves have abitilites resembling those of the Gods. They are "dangerous" and the race was shunned from Aevi. Years of war have reduced the popularity to a minimum.
Bringing you to the shopkeepers. By a single streak of luck, siblings Kazien and Aishen have survived the war. They are now considered to be the only living Elves in Oblivion...
But who knows what lies out in the vast unknown?
The Shadowmere
The Shadowmere are a strain of Daemons; a mixture of Hel's slaves and the humans who pass through an Aether warp, which is a rarity unto itself.
The main distinguishing feature of the "Mere" as they are called, is the deep tan to chocolate shade of skin they all share.
Their hair is normally from a pale white-blond to a dark jet-black. Red and silver are a rarity. Eyes can be any shade.
Their bodies are wiry and lithe, like the Hellwolves themselves, and usually well-toned and tall.
The Elves
The Elves, sometimes referred to as "Eiffen" are just what they sound like: Elves!
The purebloods, which are the rarity since the war ended, have pale skin that never tans, silver hair, and purple eyes, ranging from pale amethyst to deep indigo.
Their distinguishing features are their long, usually pierced, ears and their short, slender stature.
Elves can heal small injuries and send and receive thoughts from any living creature -- this is why Aishen and Kaziel have shops open at the edge of Aevi.
