So here we are ... summer is nearly over. crying Some of you may be back to school already, some will soon, some didn't even have any holidays ...

So ! What are your plans? What class are you starting? What are you studying? If school is over, what's your job, is there any change (pay rise maybe *_* ) ?

Annnd, the final question: what do you want to be when you're a grown-up? =P

I love the 'grown-up' thing xD I'm not grown-up, I just work instead of studying - and I got to study for my job, so ....

Yeah, I didn't have holidays this summer, but I changed missions (uh, I'm not sure I'm saying it right ^^'). I'm a developer (I develop applications), and I'm employed by a company that rents developers to other companies. I also work for a bank on this new mission (the same one actually :3)

(I know this is boring, but it's in the topic requirements xD)

I'm glad I've changed missions, but it's a bit challenging cause the other developers seem to be pretty good technically (and proud about it and not very keen on those less good than them ...) . And I miss my former team also ...

No rise with that change, because in the company I'm in, one can only get a rise once a year, after the annual interview ^^"

So, what about you Leilo? How were your holidays except for the corn part? xp
You'll be studying English in the Uni in September again?

You're a developer?! Wow, I didn't know that. *_* Maybe one day you'll do the next Google/Facebook/whatever-like success! whee

As for me, the holidays have been more than boring and unproductive. And in September I'll start a Master in translation in a Parisian school. Which would be fantastic if I wasn't homeless. sweatdrop

You're coming to Paris! Yeaah! o/ (I should have know, but I didn't really realised ^^")

Uh, I doubt I'll develop the new Facebook xD I develop applications for a bank, so it's about working with financial data ... like the price of stocks, how much made a trader during a day ... that kind of things ^^'
I don't call myself a 'real' developer xD;

Yes, lodgings in Paris are really, really expensive °_° I'm living in a small one room flat, and it's already expensive °°"

Let me know if I can be of any help ^^

Financial data ... ew, not funny. v_v" *hates maths*

I've found a few ads for over-expensive flats, I'll try to call this evening. I hope they're not already rented. And I hope they'll agree to send me photos, because there's no way I'm wasting a day in the train once again. stare

Er, yes, that's also the tricky part in Paris : overpriced tiny flats get snatched away in about 2 hours after the ad's published. Really. ^^"

It's not always like that, but if you can, it's good to call very fast after the new ads get online.
Also it's better if you've got all your papers ready, and if you've got your parents' guaranty.

When you're working, the owners usually ask for payslips (O_o never heard the word before I looked it up ~~), and that you earn about three times the rent ... I mean, wow O_O

I hope you'll find what you're looking for, I hope you got luck >< Anyway, it's easier to search when you're already in Paris, so maybe you can find a temporary solution first. Lots of students choose to live together to share the rent, I think it can be a solution too ^^

*loves Maths* =p Seriously in High School Physics were my favorite, but in Preparatory Classes and Engineering School, Maths became my favorite ♥
Not Numerical Analysis though, but Probabilities and Statistics ♥

Colocation is not for me. Really. ^^" I'm an asocial and I can't trust people, so it would become unbearable within a week.

In fact I found something- well, sort of. I'll send the letter tomorrow morning, and I hope I'll get it. >.<

Well it's not that I hate maths ... but maths hate me. o/ Which is a shame, since all my dream jobs are in the science field. .___. Statistics are funny, I loved making graphics in high school!

Sweet! Let's hope it works >w<

Hum, sorry if I've been making it look hopeless ^^;; It's just that I had found it hard when I was looking for a flat, and I still find Paris' real estate crazy O_O

Yeah, I know if I were to live in a flat-share, it'd be only if I were sure the other(s) would not make noise, be tidy enough, and not step on my personal space ^^'
I'm not very keen on spending all my time with people, I need my own space and time alone, but I don't like living alone either. When I was still living in the family home, I liked being in my room reading or browsing the internet while hearing my parents and sister chat in the kitchen >w<
I like people being there, and being part of it ... anyway, I'll stop babbling now xD

Yes, statistics are cool <3 The normal law's really cool for instance (xD)

In the science field? What are your dream jobs?

Well, I have been in school for a little over a month now, and already been arguing with my psycho teacher >.> so already hating it, but I guess it's nice to have something to do every day again, even though i am looking forward to the next vacation in five-six weeks >.> but before that vacation I'm going to Paris with my class and I can't wait!^^

Anyway, glad to be back everyone ^^.

Aaaaahhh... It's such a great pleasure not to have to return to school this year... Let me appreciate it again... aaaahhh...
I think I'm in heaven: no homework, no teacher...

Hey Ghost patriot, your sig makes me think about something I've heard: do you know the "talk like a pirate day"? (sorry, nothing to do here but I was just wondering...)
