Hello everyone! I'm back from the dead, and Am now stable enough to atleast post 5 days out of the week here... can't prmise anything on my days off, since I have no computer of my own. sad
Anyway, seems like things around here haven't really changed... well not TOO much since I've been gone!
Though, now that I am back, there are a few things that I wanted to touch base on you all with.
1. I will not have the time to DM.
-I may be able to in the future, though I I can't promise a time, or even if I'll want to at that point, but it's still up in the air.
2. As much as I do love Gerbo... I'm going to have to let him go... sad
- I know... but he's not the first Tosscobble to hit the retirement home.
and finnaly,
3. Since I'm going to be retiring Gerbo, should i make a new character from scratch?

yeah, things are still a little bit hectic in my life, but i know I will always have time for a post or two on days that I work. smile

Mabye a tank perhaps? Or a healer?

YOU'RE BACK!!! *Over excited, super flying hella-tackle into Gerbo* Uh...I think I broke him...sooo...about that retirement home on Mist Island you were talking about...
In all seriousness, it's good to have you back. Another diligent player is just what we need here. And I'd say keep your old stats and just remake Gerbo. We need some good, high power people to even things out here. And if you just enjoy the pleasure of remaking a character from 24 CP then by all means I'm still not going to complain.

Well i was actually thinking about making a defender type tank person. I was reading alot of the ooc stuff that people were saying, and it seems that a defender is really needed.
I was thinking a combo of true guardian with reflect from the lancers.
Pull any one damage source, and reflect it right back at them. Sounds like it would work well.
something along the lines of...
A- 0
D- 7
CD- 1
L- 35 (7)
M-0
E-1
True guardian (5) Regen x5(5) Reflect (4) Fast actor (4)
What do you guys think?

You could take the defense and pump up combat die, move some points from regeneration into equip, and you could get 5d4x2 of attack and special attack defense...
And if your lucky, will have a 50% chance of having ((5d4x2)x2) of special and attack defense...
Thats totals up as around 10-80 attack/special defense per turn. Plus you have a dice attack power of around 5-40 if you use dice for offense.
And then you just have to find that ring that allows both offense and defensive dice... And a decent way to protect against magic damage.

Or, move 4/5 CP of regen into another fast actor... Then you can have defensive hold every turn. 21 universal-resistance per turn is pretty good...
Although you'll need something akin to a special attack to be able to go solo tourney.

Ok so if I submit this new character, what happens to all my old gear and stuff? Can i get like a 1/4 chip ratio, or should I just start with the base starting chips?
