My parents don't know im bi, and they seem to have a neutral outlook of gays/bi/les community.
My mom, who is chinese, would never figure in 3billion years. As for my dad, umm he's pretty clueless also, but being around him alot and having mostly girl-type friends he probably thinks im a normal teenager. I've told my recent ex, my best friend, and my other ex, and no one else, they are the people i can trust, they mostly just deal with it although my recent ex supports me ALOT. So i can say no one I know is homophobic and i think... sweatdrop

Hmm this should also be interesting to read..... I'm not bi/gay though so I wouldn't know. I am however Canaanite, & most of my family resents me because of it. Not the younger ones cause they wouldn't know anything about religion (I mean hell, they think their god "Loves" everyone XD), but the older ones. My friends could care less. They just wonder why I go to a catholic school, is all.

Well,I aked my mom once what she thought about gays/lesbians (we were talking about Lindsay Lohan ) ,and she just ranted in the car for a good twenty minutes how being gay was a sin and stuff. crying My dad could care less though, and sometimes,he actually seems supportive.I asked him what he thought about it once, and he just grinned and joked that he would feel much better if I went out with someone who couldn't get me pregnant. xd
And lastly,my friends are so supportive it makes me want to cry. heart

My mom did a lot of Googling and found out that I was bi, that way. She was trying to get me to delete my myspace and because I didn't believe that she actually saw it, I asked for some proof. She asked, "What did you put down for orientation?" I was surprised that that was the most influential thing on the page that she saw. I immediately broke down crying. She said, "You shouldn't make information like that public." I told her that the only people I was hiding it from was her and my father. My sisters knew, some of my family knew, and all of my friends. I was accepted and happy. I told her that I had been this way since 7th grade. She asked, "Well guys are cuter, right?" I just shook my head. She went into her room and cried for the rest of the night... ...I don't think she ever told my dad. I guess it's better that way.
For about a month, she made comments whenever I did something too... boyish, I guess. She was really holding some lesbian stereotypes to me... It died down though. We never talk about it anymore. I like it that way.
It was hard for a while, but I think that getting the truth out was so much more worth it. Even if I didn't want it happening in the way that it did.

My mom was fine with me thinking I liked girls, as I kinda told her about the crushes on girls I had gotten. I guess she dubbed me as 'bi-curious' but after I decided that boys just aren't for me, she flipped out. My dad dopesn't mind, he supports me fully, but my mom is very.... Off about the subject. I recently got my hair cut, practically boy short -Ive been mistaken for a boy twice so far- and she wasn't too happy about 'having a son'. I have a girlsfrriend, but I haven't told her, snce the last time I had one, she started asking a bunch of questions and when me and my ex broke up, she was like "Well, normal girls like boys," We still haven't worked out our problems. And I am scared to tell her about my new GF because my girlfriend is someone who was, and stil is oone of my best friends, and I'm a little scared to see how she would react to that.

Im bisexual, and everyone i know is okay with it. I have told my mom, dad, aunt (and NOT my uncle >>; ) and just about every single one of my friends that acturally knows me o.o Now a days its becomeing more and more natural for people to get more into the different sexualities. (please note all the posts EVERYWHERE you see about what you just now said) It happens so much, i doubt anyone would be acturally 'shocked' if you told them :p

My parents don't really tolerate the fact that I'm gay considering they're very devout Roman Catholics. I do believe one of my aunts know that I'm gay, she doesn't agree with it but doesn't go out of her way to change me. Quite a few of my friends know that I'm gay but I'm in the closet at school. (Which my friends find it hard to believe considering they say that I'm so gay it'd be pretty hard to miss. xD; )

I'm proudly bi =) Realized it when I was 15, a bit of a "wait... waaait a second... *flashback to my entire life of being attracted to women too without realizing that's exactly what being bi is*" thinking back on the moment I can practically see the light bulb go off above my head xD
All my friends know and I don't hide it from anyone outside my family at all, even my highschool class knew(funny story as to how actually xD) and my teachers and what not.. but.. Mom is narrowminded, homophobic and catholic. I've tried to tell her a couple of times, when we've been discussing things like gay marriges and gay couples having kids and stuff and I asked casually(attempted to ask casually) "well what do you think about bisexuals?" which i've asked like 2-3 times now and she never really gives an answer, just like wrinkles her nose as if bisexualism doesn't even exist -.- So yea.. I wont tell her unless I have a serious relationship with another woman in the future, then I will. But yea I'm paranoid so while I wouldnt mind telling the rest of my family, I know if I did, mom would find out. Thus noone knows...

My family don't know I'm bi, and if they did find out I would no longer be accepted. My fiance knows and so does one other friend. It's hard to tell the people you love the most that you are.

My mum and dad know, and they're more or less cool with it. I think it makes my mom uncomfortable when I talk about girls 'that' way, though. I had a huge crush on my best friend, once, and when I tried to ask her for advice she just kinda tuned me out :/ So we don't discuss it. My friends more or less know. Maybe not so many of the new ones, but it's not a big enough deal to me to run around annoucing 'Oh, BY THE WAY! I really like girls and boys! Just a heads up!' =3= Because it isn't really anyone elses business but my own.

my mom doesn't mind at /all/. the only other person in my family that knows is my older sister. they both don't care. about five of my friends know. they're all completely fine with it.
i'm just really afraid of coming out to the rest of the world. Dx it would make things really awkward, like when changing in P.E. or whatever. =/

my parents....don't exactly know i'm gay. but they should have an idea....last time the gay topic came up [thanks to my older brother gay bashing me] i asked them what's wrong with being gay [although i denied that i was]. apparently, they believe that anything that's not heterosexual is wrong and abnormal. that if i am gay, i'd live a horrible life because society doesn't accept us ._.;
my older brother doesn't like me because i'm gay. we don't talk anymore because of that. most recently, somebody finished his box of root beer. he went to my room and accused me of drinking them...i told him i didn't drink any, and he replied with a, "stop lying, i know you did, i don't believe homos."
my younger brother is pretty fine with it, 'though i could sense that he's feels a bit weird having a homosexual older sister.
i've have yet to witness my older sister's reaction...because she doesn't live with us. but i'm sure my older brother told her...he loves gay bashing.

I knew my parents didn't care before I came out to them. My best friend, Wes, is gay, and my parents love him. My mom also used to have alot of gay/lesbian friends when she was younger.
I did come out to my parents, and they're fine with it, and they love my gf.
My problem is the rest of my family...my grandmother is super religious, all she plays is bible and god songs all the freakin' time. My grandfather (my mom's dad) is pretty old fashioned.... As for my Papa (my gram's current husband) I'm not too sure about.
And as for my friends, they're all totally cool with it. They all still love me
