REMINDERS
All right - now that the rules are taken care of, time for just a few reminders/statements.
There will be several chapters and side-quests and boss monsters and all that good, delicious stuff all us gamers love. But please be aware that NONE OF THE CHARACTERS CAN BE ACTIVE IN TWO QUESTS AT THE SAME TIME. If you want that character to be in another quest, TAKE THAT CHARACTER OUT OF THE QUEST HE/SHE IS IN AT THE PRESENT TIME. Remember, not even vampires can be in two places at once.
When entering an area[thread] (say a field or a castle or whatever) on a quest, there will be several first posts that give you the low-down on what to expect. Like how the setting looks, possible monsters you will need to face, artifacts you need to recover, artifacts you will need to use, etc. AS MORE AND MORE QUESTS APPEAR, THE MISSIONS WILL GROW LONGER, THE MONSTERS MORE DIFFICULT TO DEFEAT, MORE TRAPS TO AVOID, AND MORE TREACHERY AROUND EVERY CORNER. Why? Because it's a game. A role-playing game, and I'm seeking to make the experience unlike any roleplay you've ever played. Tell me if it works, yeah? smile
ONCE A QUEST IS COMPLETED, the person saved, the artifact retrieved, the monster defeated - whatever was required, THAT QUEST WILL BE CLOSED AND ARCHIVED, unable to be participated in anymore. I'll try to go slow with posting new threads so you guys don't feel overwhelmed, put please participate.
Also, THERE WILL BE what we call A BASE in the roleplay. Rather AN INN, OR A TAVERN, OR A BAR. THIS IS WHERE NEW UPDATES FOR DIFFERENT QUESTS AND MISSIONS WILL BE PLACED. Usually AN NPC WILL BE HANGING AROUND THERE OR WILL APPEAR WHEN A NEW MISSION IS READY AND AVAILABLE FOR RPERS.
SOME MISSIONS AND SOME QUESTS WILL BE FOR CERTAIN FACTIONS AND SUBFACTIONS ONLY. Please keep this in mind when volunteering for quests.
All faction threads and other important threads will be stickies. Why? Because I would like for them to stay in order. Order is important to me.
And also - I worked hard on this rp, you guys. Albeit I left it alone for a while, but it has taken me a least two months to get this rp where it is right now. I've put a lot of hours into it, and I've worked hard on it. If you diss it in any way just to diss it, I will smash you. Just putting that out there right now. If you don't like the rp, just don't rp. That's all I ask. Participating in this roleplay is not required, so please be kind when talking about the quality of the roleplay.
For every FACTION'S THREAD, THERE WILL BE AN 'ABOUT' SECTION giving you the general and specific layouts of each faction. READ IT. If your profile has something completely off of what I posted, and you don't tell me that you PLANNED it that way, I will delete your profile and you'll have to start all over again.
And - to keep it easy for you guys - let's just say that EVERY SUBFACTION THAT HAVE ANIMALS FOR FACTIONS/SUBFACTIONS ALSO HAVE HUMANOID COUNTERPARTS. ((Ex. Gryphons also have humanoid counterparts they can turn into.))
