Hey, what's goin on. My name is HopingSister,
AND I AM SO HAPPY!!
Thursday: Woo! Charles Gibson was in my hometown! So a bunch of us Obama Supporters packed up my friend's mum's van and went downtown. Toby, a five year old Obama Supporter, went with us. "Toby," we asked, "If someone asks you why you would vote for Obama, what do you say?"
Toby smiled broadly and replied "Cause he ROCKS!!". We were proud to see him supporting with such enthusiasm.
Friday: Got out of school before lunch to go downtown to the Obama HQ. I saw Sarah Weddington (Ha! You thought I was going to say Palin. Gotcha). Sarah Weddington is the lawyer who won the Roe vs. Wade case.
In case you dont know, the Roe vs Wade case is the case fighting for/against abortion. I got a picture with Sarah, and was soooo excited.
My friend's mum gave me a sign to put in our yard at home.
