I think I know, I mean I "Yes" but it's all wrong...
All RPCs who have existed for the last 3 weeks or greater will benefit from this. If your RPC is new... sorry.
We're going to have an RP-Wide (excluding fresh RPCs) power advancement. You can do one of three things.
1. Make your ability "stronger".
2. Give yourself slightly more control.
3. Apply your ability in a new way.
For instance... Seymour will learn how to manipulate the brain waves (like he has been), but now... he can also induce coughing. However, he can't translate other brain waves into coughing, he can only create it in the first place. (So it doesn't flow as well with his other abilities).

Uh... I've only done this twice, but I made it so Warren could fly by locking onto himself. I guess that would be my power advancement.

Avetlana can give off heat now. she needs to touch objects though to give off heat, and she cannot generate her own heat. She needs to abosrb it from an outside source.

Yang can make the smoke a bit more solid, say, concrete I guess, and can project smoke images (For example: make a smoke clone)

Would create an invisible 15 ft. radius dome/field that would negate everyone's ability if they stay within the parameters.
For example: the battle between Seymour, Vance, Warren, Gavin, and Izzy. If he had this power up, everyone in that room would have been powerless until they left the room or someone knocked out Gavin.
