(Dunno why I put "spoiler" in the title, you'd have to live under a rock not to know...)

On the National Television Awards tonight, David announced that he's leaving Doctor Who after 2009's specials. crying

I didn't think I'd be so upset about this... we all knew it was coming sooner or later, but I was hoping it'd be later... cry On the bright side, I am looking forward to his future work...

cry I thought they were working on a new contract for him to stay until the end of the 2010 season...this sucks.

Yeah? Well I don't know anyone who would have a problem with that. =/

Ugh I'm dreading his last episode. I'll burst out crying like I did during the season 2 finale of Torchwood.

i literally broke down crying when i heard. i live in the states, so i had absolutely no idea that he announced it till 2 days afterward. crying crying crying

I'm glad they told us now, though - If I'd found out during the regeneration, I'd probably accept 11th Doctor...
