1.Essays must have the basic essay format, containing at least five paragraphs. As long as it looks like an essay, it will probably work.
2.Make sure to proofread your essay, and put it under spellcheck.
3.These essays must not contain hate speech, or direct attacks against people; however, political essays against people are permitted within reason.
4.It is sugguested that if you are going to post alot of essays at once, you should put them into a single thread, instead of making a topic for each one, though this isn't required.
5.If there are several comments complaining about the quality, or content of the essay, it will be considered for deletion.
6.People can write multiple essays about the same topic, so long as they have unique information.
7.None of these essays may contain content that goes against the rules of Gaia.
If anyone has questions about these rules, please contact me, as the other moderators are very busy.

Just a few quick questions: I_27_04 3.These essays must not contain hate speech, or direct attacks against people; however, political essays against people are permitted within reason. By this, do you mean in argument against certain political figures or political actions? If so, I think that last bit should be reworded, just so as not to cause confusion. I_27_04 4.It is permitted to make a private page where one may store all of their essays in one place. I assume you mean that people are allowed to create threads for themselves in which they can store their essays, yes? If so, this should also be reworded. Those are my only questions, but all in all, kudos! 3nodding I also corrected a few spelling errors and such. I will delete this after I read your response.

For the first, what I am saying is that I won't cencor anything intelligable.
If it goes against TOS, then I'll cut it. If it's hate speach, then I'll probably consult some people, including you, before cutting it. It it's a pointless essay, or something that needs defeinite revision, I'll ask the person to revise it.
Alltogether I won't just cut things I disagree with, only things that are obviously unfit for display, such as,"An essay about what I think about stuff... What the hell is brittaney thinking.... Boroc is the anti christ."
I would, however, accept stuff similar depending on the situatoin, "An essay about my views... The tradegy in celebrities, media, etc.... An essay about how I don't like Boroc Obama." Note that those are similar to, but they all more civil than as potrayed in the first quote.
To the second, I'll ammend it as a sugguestion.

I'd like to note that I don't have anything against Barak Obama, nor will you find me preventing people from descriminating about him. I was showing two examples of people who disliked Barak Obama, however one of them was not civil enough in their essay to be able to be represented in their guild.
