Hjarn had been gone from her forest for a few days now. No doubt her bonded was wondering where she was. Let her wonder. She thought to herself with a disdainful scowl.
It had just become too much down there and she needed to escape. The newest member of her bonded's was an obtrusive idiot female with a mouth that needed to be sewn shut. She had tried to entice Hjarn into dancing. Dancing. Like that was going to happen.
Hjarn tossed her mane from her eyes with a swift jerk of her head and leapt into the branches of a nearby tree, using her wings to gain height and her spikes to grab a strong hold. Silence is what she wanted now. Silence to think and plot out a plan to put the party loving demon in her place. She allowed a small smirk to show as she set about concocting the worst possible scenarios she could act out.

It was a dark night, the moon struggling to glint through a few straying clouds. Satariel didn't seem to mind one way or the other. He actually preferred the dim light. And besides... if he had wanted something a little more elaborate he was sure he could whip up something.
Satariel's pitchfork waved around his tail as his eyes drooped in utter boredom. Life out here was plain and he was beginning to wonder why he came all this way to begin with. The humans... the winis.. nothing was all that interesting.
Satariel blew a puff of smoke out of his mouth when his glowing eyes pulled over to see a straggler moving along the trees. "Humph." He thought to himself while shaking his head, "Probably another mistake like the rest of them..."

From her perch, Hjarn twitched her ears as she heard a sound amongst the quiet. With a silent groan of annoyance, she pulled herself into a sitting position and dug her sharp claws into the bark of the tree. Well, if she couldn't be left alone, perhaps she could have a little fun with whatever poor soul had happened her way.
She leapt nimbly down to the dark forest floor and stretched her wings, dark red eyes trained on the stranger approaching. She couldn't see yet if the creature was human or demon, either way, it was in for a surprise. Her lips twitched in cynical amusement and she took a deep breath of the night air.
"Are you lost?" Her low voice carried across the silence.

The sound of a most demanding voice broke him out of his thoughts. With a glare, he moved in the direction of the voice to notice a female wini looking very stout, he only rolled up his eyes, "Do I look lost to you?" Shaking his head, his tail swung a little harder, venturing slightly closer so he could get a better look at the strange wini. "Seems you're far from home..."

She ignored the eye roll and examined this new demon in her presence. Interesting. She lifted a corner of her mouth into a slight smile and raised an eyebrow. "I could say the same to you," she replied haughtily and swished her tail around her paws.
