This floating island is completely deserted, it's inhabitants slain by the heartless years before the birth of the Keyblade's Chosen One, Sora. The only building that is mostly undamaged and still standing is a 3 story home, and in front, a garden which is more like a grove. Inside this grove are 5 tombstones, which Takeru Hitashi, also known as "The Winged Knight of the Light" visits from time to time from the Realm of Light. These tombstones mark the graves of Takeru's family, who died at the hands of the heartless. Takeru was the only survivor but was cornered at the edge of the island. Trying to escape, Takeru jumped off the edge of the island but a metre down in his fall, Takeru was killed by a Heartless, and he found himself in the Realm of Light, and was given the power of the light to help save the universe from the Darkness. Takeru serves the Gods of the Light and is a Seraph, having 10 large gossamer wings on each side that allow him to fly, and he can command Light and Electricity and wields the blade of the Light, Heaven's Edge.

A Corridor of Light appeared out of nowhere in the centre of the grove and out stepped a person who looked like a 17 year old, however he was much older than that. "Mother... Father... Brother... Sisters... I visit your graves again, but I am sorry I am the only one left of our family, but I died as you did and was given the Light's blessing, to fight against the Darkness that killed you" said the teenager, whose name was Takeru Hitashi. Takeru turned around and saw a few heartless appear and he said in anger "Foul Servants of Darkness, you dare defile my family's graves! Now you will pay!". Takeru unsheathed a sword from the scabbard at his back and he said something inaudible, and suddenly his sword joined to his hand through his armor. "DIE!" shouted Takeru, as he charged at lightning speed and struck the heartless, light engulfing each of the heartless, and a second later for each of the heartless, the heartless died.

Takeru, after defeating the heartless, created a corridor of light and walked through it, carrying his sword at the ready.
