We're leaving here tonight There's no need to tell anyone They'd only hold us down So by the morning light We'll be half way to anywhere Where love is more than just your name
The son of King Tolis has always dreamed of a life outside the palace walls. Royal matters and politics never interested him for he found them to be quite boring. As one can imagine, his parents are not pleased with this. They know they must deal with him before he could be named heir - something they had to do before his eighteenth birthday.
Tired of his parents pushing and fussing, Prince Andri decides to escape to the town. He disguises himself as a commoner goes out with the servants who leave the palace to go to market. He knows he'll be in a lot of trouble if he gets caught but it's worth it.
----- is a common thief who roams the streets of Seafole. He steals to make a living but isn't really a bad guy; just a little rough around the edges. He doesn't like the royal family all that much and feels they could do something more for the country of Nalfina. He lives in an abandoned home on the northeast part of town, near the market.
While on his walk in the market, he comes across a rather handsome male. He's never seen this man before and feels a strange attraction to him. As he watches the man, he notices the male getting into a bit of trouble with a short-tempered merchant and decides to help.
What will happen when ----- finds out this 'mysterious man' is actually Prince Andri?

Seafole's market was having one of it's normal busy days. The latest fish from the nearby sea had came in just that morning so it was one of the major hits. Traveling merchants had set up their carts, selling jewelry and articles from far away lands. The townspeople flocked the busy market, either browsing or buying supplies.
Andri had already separated himself from the servants who had came to market. His outfit consisted of brown trousers, a cream colored shirt and a brown jacket. On his feet were a pair of worn looking boots, some he'd picked up from a servant. His long white hair was pulled back, only allowing the shorter ends to frame his face. It was not how a prince would dress but Andri wasn't going to be a prince today. He was going to be a simple townsman.
Excitment coarsed through his veins as he looked around. This was his first time outside of the palace and, quite frankly, it was wonderful. The sights and sounds, smells and colors of the market surrounded him. It was nothing like at the palace. Everything here was so alive. He didn't want to go back to the boring life at the palace.
As he walked, he heard several offers from merchants, all trying to get him to buy something from their shops. He looked at some things but carried on, more interested in what he'd see next. It wasn't until he came to a fruit vender that he saw a young girl standing next to it, eyeing the fruit with hunger. She was so small and hardly looked six years old. As the kind man he was, Andri wanted to help the poor girl.
"Are you hungry?" He asked the small child. The girl nodded and Andri picked up an orange from the table of fruit and handed it to the girl.
"Oi!" The white haired male turned to look at the angry looking vender. "There will be none of that at my shop!" The small girl ran off, frightened by the man. The man reached out and grabbed Andri by the collar. "You better be paying for that, boy." He growled.
Andri, despite never having to pay for anything in his life, wasn't stupid. He had came to the market with money. Though it was a bit shocking to be treated like this by this man. "I-I am..." He said and reached around to his belt where he'd attached the pouch of money. Unfortunetly, he couldn't find it. The pouch wasn't there.
Andri was panicing now. "I'm afraid I-I don't have any money...."
"Thief!" The man shouted angerly. "I'll see that you're punished for this, boy!" He stated and pulled out a long, sharp blade. Andri knew the punishment for thievery - loosing either a hand, an ear or an eye. He struggled against the man, trying to pull away.
"Don't! Please! I'll pay just... let me go get the money!" He said, trying to bargin with the man. "I'll pay you, I swear!"

Celestias, a strikingly handsome young man, still half-asleep and half-dressed, roamed the market, yawning rudely and picking his ear. It was always best for him to walk in the morning while the noises were rather loud--it kept him awake for the first hour of the day.
He passed through his usual path, near an older woman's house. She shot him her deadly glare, as she always did, judging him because of the life he choose. Celestias stopped for a moment, hunched over and hands in his pockets, staring pointlessly at the old woman(who never ceased her glaring). He muttered, " Cheh.", and sulked on his way.
Back into the light and the hustle and bustle of the market, Celestias returned to his walk among the people. He spotted ten people he could have easily pick-pocketed, but he was too tired to--
Out of the corner of his eye, Celestias saw a young man with long, sliver hair pass by him. He watched him, gazing at his slender body. Graceful walk. Beautiful hair. Wide, exploring eyes. And his skin...But it was his smell that caught the majority of Celestias' attention.
This guy was rich. Really rich.
Suddenly awake, Celestias got that familir gleem in his eyes. He moved swiftly, following unconspicuously behind the male. This guy, completely engulfed by the wonder of such a simple splendor as the market, was totally unaware that he was being followed. Actually, no on noticed Celestias. Of course, this was his specialty.
The young male shifted his body to the side for just a split second--long enough for Celestias to walk passed him. No one saw anything suspicious, because there was nothing to see. Unless you were as much a professional as Celestias, you couldn't even if you tried.
Once he was hidden in a darkend alley, Celestias observed his findings. ~Jackpot!~, he thought, giddy. This was the biggest pick he'd gotten in months! The boys back at the Underground Tavern--
The sound of a cranky, old fart merchant, one who sold fruit, yelling caught Celestias' attention. He hid his prize and looked to find the familiar face of Old Man Severs, shouting while clutching the arm of...that guy.
He said something about a theft and grabbed a sword. Celestias sighed worriedly, a sudden feeling of guilt washing over him. Pull the hood of his dirty cape of his head, he marched through the crowd, making sure to go unnoticed by Severs. He found his way behind the stall. Pulling out a blood-stained talisman in the shape of a pentagram, he appeared out of nowhere, holding it outward at th Old Man.
Severs stopped, looking both shocked and annoyed. " You!" " Better watch yourself, Severs. You take something from this boy and I'll take a thousands somethings from you." The crowd gasped, fully afraid of the heartless demon the back streets of Seafold knew as Weitarh, which ment " Heartaker " in the dead language.
Severs hesitated. " S-Stay back, you mad man! Your bloodthristy habits won't catch me!", he snapped. He pointed to an Imperium Cross, hanging daintily above his stand. It seemed like every part of him was praying to the gods that it would work well for him.
The crowd looked back from Severs to Weitarh, waiting to see what he'd do. Rarely did he back down, but there were stories of it before. Weitarh might give up where he stood.
The wind blew a slight part of his hood up, revealing a smirk. Without warning, Weitarh threw the pentagram in the air, and with all eyes on the cursed object, he kicked a leg of the stand, knocking th entire fruitcase over. Severs immediatly wailed for his lost fruit. Weitarh caught the pentagram and laughed. " Now your curse shall be others, as well!", he yelled, taking the pentagram and slamming it flat on a peice of fruit. This was supposed to curse the entire batch for as long as it was in this world. The crowd gasped and screamed, calling for guards. Panicking, Celestais ran off into the dark back alleys., but not without taking the boy with him.

Andri continued struggling but the man's grip on his wrist was like iron. If this man kept shouting like this, he might attract the guards attention. He doubted the guardsmen would recongize him right away which meant the possibility of spending the rest of the day in the jails. Perhaps the gods were not on his side.
When the stranger suddenly appeared, Andri was startled slightly and his struggles ceased for a moment. This hooded man had appeared out of nowhere and seemed to be helping him?
His bright green eyes shifted to the stained pentagram talisman in his hand. A dark-magic user? But only powerful wizards could control dark magic unless... this man was a dark wizard. Yet, if he was a dark wizard (whom he heard were evil by heart and deed), why was he bothering to help him?
Andri pulled his arm again in an attempt to get free but the man's grip was still strong. Despite the stranger's threats, the vender still wouldn't let him go. That was until the strange man tossed the talisman into the air, distracting the vender and the rest of the crowd. Andri managed to pull his hand from the merchant's hold and he was prepared to run off when the fruit stand suddenly fell.
However, it was not done by magic. Andri had seen the stranger kick a leg of the stand, causing it to fall. 'Perhaps I was wrong and he is not a wizard,' Andri thought but that thought was contridicted when the strange man 'cursed' the fruit.
No, from what he'd read from books there had to be some sort of spell for a curse to work. The few magic-users in his father's court could only use their magic if they chanted some sort of spell.
This man was only pretending.
The pretense worked on the crowd for they became wild. The shouts and screams would call the guards for sure this time. Andri was lost in the ruckus until he felt himself being pulled by the stranger. Without a second thought, he followed the man into the dark alley ways, managing to keep up with him in the fast pace. He had no time to think if it was safe to be with this man. His only thought was he had to get away from the large crowd and this man seemed his only way out.
Andri waited until the sounds of the market had grown faint before he pulled out of the strangers grip. They were still the alley ways. The sun was being partly blocked by the buildings, leaving the two in their shadows.
"Who are you and why did you help me back there?" The white-haired male asked, standing in an alley between two buildings. He was grateful the man had helped him but he was cautious. He was out here in the city, alone, with no guards to protect him like in the palace. Out here, only his own mind and actions could protect him. This was not the time to give trust so easily.

Celestias was not paying attention. Sometime ago, he noticed that his pentagram was covered in bits of orange and juice. And the blood was fading.
Bending over, he examined it. " Aww! Crap--this sucks! Now I'll have it with the gods! Dammit!!!", he winded, quietly as he fiddled with it. He looked up at the male, finding it hard to make out his features. He sighed, dissapointed. He'd wanted to see this guys face clearer, but, gods would have it, the alleys were too dark, even in the day.
Standing up, he walked swiftly over to the male, pulling a knife out of his cape. He backed him into the wall and grabbed his arm. Though it was immposible to see his face, one couldn't help but shiver from the magnificent glow in his green eyes from behind his hood.
He bent his arm forcfully, making his palm lie flat. Taking the knife, he made a large slice across the middle of the male's palm, watching intently as the blood started to flow. Taking the pentagram, he spit on it and rubbed it off on his pants. He examined it. Clean enough.
He grabbed his hand now, holding the object underneath it and squeezing the palm hard. Blood fell quickly into the pentagram, drying at an unnatural rate.
Celestias shook the pentagram in the air, making sure none of the blood was wet. It was completely dry.
He let go of the male's hand, not bothering to wipe the blood now present on his hand. Behind the shadow of his hood, he almost smiled. " That's for annoying me after I saved your life. Thanks." He threw the pouch he'd taken from him earlier--it being a tad bit lighter--and snapped, " Your kind belong in castles and mansions. I'd advise you find your way back." He glowered, his aura very dark now. " We don't need scum like you prowling our streets. Isn't ruling over us enough?"
Without another word, Celestias turned and walk away swiftly. He was pissed. Severly pissed. At the male and himself.

Andri tried getting away but the man moved too quickly. Before he knew it, he was pressed back against the wall and trapped. "Let go!" He demanded as the stranger took hold of his arm. He eyed the knife in the man's hand, trying to pull his arm out of his grip. That proved to be useless.
He gave a pained gasp as his hand was cut, the blood quickly welling up. It was a strange sight to see it against his pale skin - at least for Andri it was. He wasn't used to seeing his own blood like this. As one can imagine, growing up in a royal palace made the chance for injuries slim.
Blood dropped from his hand onto the stranger's pentagram, a couple of drops hitting the darkened street below. His struggling to get out of the stranger's grip was steadily proving useless and it was beginning to hurt. Needless to say, he was glad when the man finally let him go.
The white haired male held his bleeding hand and looked up at the stranger. The pouch he just threw... so that's what had happened to his money. Well, at least he got it back.
The next set of words caused Andri's green eyes to widen. He knew? Was it really that obvious? Well, from a first glance, it was probably obvious that he had never done any hard labor in his life.
Still, that did not call for such harsh words. Andri looked up at the man's back, glaring fiercily at the back of his head. "Perhaps that is not the life I would have chosen." He stated. "Yet you dare to assume that's what I want? I hope all people aren't as simple-minded as you!" This was probably not the smartest move to make. He was weaponless, injured, alone and without any protection. But that wasn't who Andri was. He spoke freely without much cause for a thought.

Celestias stopped. His eyes widend and his face twisted into a smile. This guy....was a peice of work. And he was getting on Celestias' nerves.
But he just gave him an excuse to get back at him.
Moving at an unnatural speed, Celestias reached into his cloak and pulled out his knife. He spun around and threw it at the male. It flew so fast that the small gust of wind trailing behind it seemed miles away. It flew just passed the male's right ear, hitting hard into the wall behind him. It took a second, but after the wind caught up, a small amount of the male's hair fell gracefully from his head.
Celestias turned to him, walking swiftly. " How much of a child you are. What a spoiled way of thinking. It's privileged brats like you that irk me the most!", he yelled.
As soon as he was close enough he rammed his fist into the male's face, knocking him down. With a severly pissed off look he grabbed him by the shirt and lifted him easily off the ground, pushing him against the wall. " Choose your life? Tell me of a man whose life is not chosen for him by the gods! What does a spoiled brat like you know? Living sheltered and never exposed to the real world--What do you know?!!", he screamed.
Without letting him reply, he released him, letting him drop onto the ground. Celestias turned to walk away. Then, something occured to him and he froze where he stood.
~" Not the life I chose"?...Wait a minuet--Doesn't that imply...Great responsibility? He is...Someone important....? R-Really important. Which means he can't just be a regular noble...W-Which means...Could he be?...~ Celestias' mind was scattered. He turned and looked at the male, his eyes wide, but no longer in anger or disgust.
He wondered. Royalty? It could be the case...He could be a close relative of the royal family. Celestias knew the king's brother had a few sons. If so, could this male honestly be...? " Jackpot."
Celestias almost giggled with glee. He moved back to where the male was, standing over him, almost smiling. He spoke in a whisper, saying, " You, being of the sort of high society that knows magic, by now realize that I am no wizard. My spells and rituals do not work. Therefore, I can't possibly cast real magic, only the stuff that requires faith in the gods for a result. Cheh." He bent over, leaning in close, now speaking in the male's ear. " Dispite all of this, there is only one actual spell I can cast. And it is called Felepsio."
The spell he uttered, unknown by any other wizard, and for reason he couldn't quite explain, was his alone. It was a knockout spell.

Andri didn't even notice the stranger had thrown a knife until he heard a 'thunk' beside his head, followed by a brief breath of wind. He looked over to see the knife embedded in the stone wall behind him. Only a couple centimeters over and it could have killed him. Or taken an eye.
The young male could hear quick footsteps and turned to only to see the cloaked stranger's fist. He tried to dodge it but the hit stuck him on the side of his face, causing a soft cry of surprise and pain. The impact of the punch sent the white haired teen to the ground though he didn't stay there long. He realized that he was quickly being picked up again and pressed against the wall.
He managed to open his eyes, his bright green eyes wide though had little fear. He was afraid this man might kill him yes but there was also an almost defiant look. It was almost as though Andri was challenging.
That look faded into something that said 'how could you know what I go through?' How could a common man know the pressures of being a royal, let alone being a prince? It was bad enough that Andri didn't even want to crown. If anything, he would give it to one of his sisters who would be more responsible.
Andri dropped to the ground, not even bothering to try and get up. A nice-sized bruise was starting to be seen on his cheek and his hand was still bleeding. If he went home like this, he wondered what father would say. Of course, he didn't know what the man would be more concerned about - the fact Andri had been hurt or that he'd ran away from the palace.
He didn't look up to see if the cloaked man was gone, only focusing now on trying to get his hand to stop bleeding. He didn't even bother getting up. Perhaps the man was right and he didn't belong out here. No matter how much he wanted it, his place was not meant out here in the streets.
It wasn't until he heard the soft voice that he realized the man had come back. He looked up at him, slightly confused on why he was talking about magic. Though looking in his eyes, he saw something that he'd seen in many noblemen's eyes at the courts.
Greed.
He frowned at the word, his brows drawn together in confusion. "Wha-" He started to speak but his head swarm and darkness quickly covered his eyes. The pale male managed a last look at the stranger before darkness overcame him. He fell to his side, lying on the hard street, completely unconcious.

Celestias stared intently, completely mesmerized by this boy's beauty. Only now, sitting infront of him, inches away from his face, did he realize that this guy was just a kid. A handsome kid at that.
..........
Scratch that, this kid was beautiful.
Celestias took another sip of water from a small bucket he'd placed beside himself. He glowered at the kid, unconciously moving in closer. " Sick. Disgusting. Creepy...He's rich, he's got a title and a set future--he's freakin gorgeous--! Damm~it!!", he whispered. Aparently, this guy was about as lucky as Celestias was unlucky. He snapped his fingers and sat back.
~ You know, you don't have to go through with this. There are other ways of getting what you want.~, the voice inside his head advised him. He shrugged, unable to think of a legit response. The only reason he has was just as shaky as his own confidence. Would this really work? Would this kid cooperate? If he managed to get inside...Would he really be able to get out again?
" It doesn't matter. I can't possibly wait anymore. I have to see...to see her again...", he whispered. Taking a calming breath, he sighed.
He pulled his hood over his head, hiding his face. He then picked up a hand-cup full of water and threw it on the kid tied to the pole of an old farm-house. " Heeeey!! Get up!!", he whined. He shook him for effect.

Darkness.
This was all he knew up until this point. Somewhere, deep within his unconciousness, he knew what had happened.
That strange man had said something... some odd word.
A spell?
Yes, that's what happened. He had cast a spell on him, sending him into this darkness.
Something cold hit his face, causing him jump slightly then groaned softly. Andri's eyes opened wide then they blinked a couple of times. The drowsiness from the spell was wearing off so now he was aware that someone was shaking him.
"Stop it!" He stated and looked up, seeing the stranger's cloaked face again. That wasn't what made him confused though. He looked around, noticing that he was no longer in that dark alley way. Instead, he seemed to be in an old house of some sort. Judging from how quiet it was outside, he was outside of the main city of Seafole. He tried to stand but found that his hands were tied behind some piller. The ropes were so tight that he could barely feel his fingers. His cheek still hurt from where he'd been struck earlier. There was a purplish bruise on his cheek, clearly standing out on his pale face.
Finally, he looked at the man once more. Or should he say kidnapper.
He'd always known the dangers of royalty but they really hit him now. He'd always thought this would never happen to him.
Fear began to grow inside him but he held it in, stubbornly refusing to allow this man to think he had the advantage.... even if he did. "What do you want?" He asked, demanding an answer from the stranger.

Celestias paused for a moment, taking a deep breath. After holding it for a moment, he let it out. His fear of the unknown--it wouldn't subside. Ignoring the urge to turn back, he leaned a bit closer.
" What don't I want? I am a man--I want everything. At least, that's how it should be. That aside, there is something I need from you. I hope you won't mind making deals with a commoner, such as I.", he said, emphasizing the last part. He smirked behind his hood.
Leaning back, he sat down(he'd been squating)and took another gulp of water. " I can tell, just by looking at you, that you've a pretty good connection to the royal family, no? Naturally, you must live in the palace, and therefore know the ins-and-outs of the place." He paused, for effect.
Staring for a long moment, he sighed, saying at last, " You must know people...Important people...Say, for instance, the daughters of our beloved king...?"

A deal? What did he want? Money? Power? Fame? Andri wasn't sure if he could give him all that. Besides, why should he? He'd been taught to not give in to rebels, or everyone would say he was weak. Andri wasn't weak.
'Ins-and-outs of the palace?' He thought, his wondering increasing. Was he asking to help him... break into the palace? That was something Andri would not do. He wasn't going to betray his family's secrets to some stranger.
"Perhaps... but I don't know the palace well enough to get you inside." He said, leaning back against the pillar. He was still trying to work his hands out of the knot but it was proving useless. If he could get out of these bonds, maybe he could try and get out of here. The man would certainly try to stop him but, this time, Andri wouldn't be overpowered like before.
The man's statement made Andri still in his movements and he looked at the cloaked man. His sisters? This was about them? Well, of course there must have been men in the city who fancied them. After seeing Sindana in her wedding, nearly everyone must the rest of the King's daughters were as fair as she is. Aside from Sindana, he had three other sisters: Aindira, Rinu, and Akyla. Aindira was older than Andri and Rinu and Akyla were the younger ones, Akyla being the youngest at eight.
"I might and I might not." He stated, frowning now as he continued thinking about it. Being their oldest brother (despite Aindira being older than him), he was protective of his sisters. "I think I know what it is you want and I will not be the one to help you. If that is all you wanted from me, you can forget it."

Celestias was silent for a moment. He sighed, fully aware of this boy's tactics. He smiled to himself and sat back. " Right, so you do have the information I need. Anyhow, you'll want to cooperate, considering you've no idea where you are and I know...people. Running away does nothing for you."
He sighed deeply, thinking of a way to win this stubborn kid over. So far he found force was the only way. " Yeah, well, you don't have to worry about those girls. I'm not interested in women in such a way. I've got...friends for that sort of thing.", he snorted. He inched away and sat against a separate beam. In a low voice, he said, more to himself, " The one I'm searching for...I would never touch..."
He moved back to his original position after a long while of silence. " There is someone I'm searching for. My mother used to work in the palace, but a year or two ago I heard she left to another country. Problem is, I don't know which one. One of the King's daughters used to be close to her, though I'm not sure which one. Help me get in and get the information I need--that's all I want. In return, I'll give you the one thing you've always wanted..."
