After having left the village with his father to train, Daisuke returned more powerful than he had been before. His chakra capacity was increased thanks to his sensei's method of training and his jutsu had a bit more power to them. The former weather user stood in the center of the arena. This brown hair was in need of trimming as it was fashioned into a quite long ponytail. He looked up, his bright green eyes scanning the area and his goofy grin was plastered to his face, as usual. "I hope I've become stronger." He chuckled a bit and waited paitently for Masa to arive.

The arena doors opened, and rather than the fearsome ANBU Masamune, a petit girl strolled timidly forward. She was dressed in a red, mid-thigh length Kimono with long roomy sleeves that hung well past her hands, with a pair of spandex short barely showing beneath. A pair of Tessen fans were stuck through the sash at her waist.
"Um.. Hi? This guy with one eye told me I could practice here with you. Something about he was busy and had to take a rain check." She said, her voice unsteady, but seeming to gain confidence as she got used to the arena.
"This is only my second time here, actually. I didn't make it past the chuunin exams last time, but I was told I did pretty good. My name's Usada, by the way. Usada Mihama. I'll be your opponent, if you'll have me."

Daisuke was a bit confused that instead of Masa coming to fight, it was a girl whom he had never met. "A rain check? Alright then..." He scratched the back of his head, still slightly confused. "My name is Daisuke Kitahara! It's nice to meet you." He took a few steps towards her and stopped his his hands on his hips. "Of course I'll train with you. And don't feel bad about the Chunnin exams. I didn't even enter. Haha!" He laced his fingers together and cracked them over his head, then followed it up by cracking his neck. "Shall we begin?"

((If you haven't guessed by now, this is my Alternate Character. I used her once to fill an empty slot in the Chuunin exams before this one, but otherwise I haven't had many opportunities to play with her.))
Usada smiled at him, feeling a lot better about herself now that she wasn't ruining someone's plans. She gave Daisuke a polite bow, pulling out her fans as she did.
"Okay! Let's do this!" She said, snapping her fans open. Like the typical wind-user, she took a stance with her arm cocked into position to sweep with a fan right away. And swing she did, not waiting for Daisuke to get a weapon ready to take a dodging stance.
Her attack, a downward swing, launched a gust of wind at Daisuke, kicking up a cloud of dust from the arena floor and blasting it in Daisuke's face. She spun with the move and side-swept with her second fan, sending a single cutting blade of wind at Daisuke behind the optical barrier of the dustcloud. The move set her off balance, and she had to correct her footing to keep from toppling over.

((Kinda figured.))
Seeing the gust of wind pick up, Daisuke rose his arms to his face to sheild his eyes. He then brung his arms down in an attempt to create handseals, when yet another blast of wind stuck him, sending him back a few feet. Daisuke was knocked onto his back for a brief moment but got to his feet as quickly as he could. He gave a sigh and smiled again. "Tricky! Now it's my turn!" He made another set of handseals and smacked his palms to the dirt. "Raiton - Hitoshshirezu Baindo no Jutsu [Lightning Release - Hidden Binding Skill]!" He channeled his chakra through the earth, having it make it's way to Usada. Once it reached, its purpose would be known.

Usada managed to take a single step toward her opponent, intending to feint a frontal attack and strike at his flank, before she was zapped. Pain flooded her body as the current coursed through her. Her vision blacked out for a moment and she found herself on the ground, every joint aching, her breathing ragged, but alive and seemingly fit enough to keep going.
"The hell... Electricity? This could be tougher than my last match..." She muttered to herself as she pulled herself to her feet. At least she hadn't been blown up again, though she honestly didn't feel much better.
