Another pretty day, though the weather was getting cooler. If the other Soquili were right, there'd be real snow on the ground. The kind that stuck and you had to kick aside to make paths around the lands and, with any luck, find a few last shoots of grass.Dia was making the best of it, grazing across the pasture from the rest of the little herd that served as her family. They were content over there, she was happier over here for the time being, and this patch of grass was particularly sweet.
Still, she kept an eye and an ear out, just in case Soup made an appearance. If nothing else, he could keep her entertained for a while.
