So here we are, another year has come and gone, well in another spec of tradition, I want to hear some personal goals you might be setting for yourselves for the upcoming ******** we might be calling 2009.

I resolve to beat Fire Emblem 10 on Hard mode. (I'm so close)
I resolve to learn from my father's reckless driving, to become an overly-cautious law-abider.
I resolve to try Contra eventually next year and become a bad enough dude.
Let's see what you can do.

GOD_OF_DEATH_RYUK i'm going to try and kill george clooney Pathos Nervos I'm going to summon Satan. Whoa, you guys are ambitious. Good luck there, folks... As for me, I resolve to a) be more sociable, b) be more knowledgeable, and c) maintain my weight. (Sakyh'd probably scoff at that latter 'un, but y'know what? It's an effort.) Oh, and maybe d) learn to be a wicked drummer. A much easier goal to reach with my new electronic drum set. wink

Okay, well it seems like this has fizzled a little... So I'll post mine.
1. Buy a new car (Good ol' Buick ain't running so well anymore)
2. Pay off and cancel my credit cards
3. Find a new non-retail related job
4. Finish my screen-play
5. Make an honest to god attempt to get back into school
6. Become more sociable
7. Keep drinking to a minimum
8. Actually go in to get them happy pills
9. Make it to 2010

Well, I wish I could make some school related resolutions, as Fall quarter didn't go well for me, but I'm currently on Co-op, working full time, so I won't really complain (it is an office job, after all).
1. I'll never follow through, but I can always resolve to finish all of the games I have. I get into a bad habit of getting a new game, then trying something else. That'll be easier now that I'm not working at Gamestop, though.
2. Drink less soda. Still not on the coffee, but I could cut back on other caffeine sources. I could cut back on the sweets, too.
3. Finally build that computer for myself.
4. Save up some money for after graduation. (probably should be higher than the comptuer, but whatever xp )
5. Stay up to date on world events. Just because I don't watch much TV doesn't mean I have to live in the dark.
6. [POSSIBLE] get a new car. Iowa, hills, ice, and no ABS. My poor Grand Prix is double parked right now because I kept sliding while trying to get in the space/up the hill.

Mr Jawes @Drinky: I can't remember...what were you going to school for? I was studying Political Science and History, but when/if I go back I'll be starting off easy with just some basic generals. I've been outta school for nearly two years now, the idea of going back literally terrifies me.

Well, I'm honestly not sure if I can even get back into some of the schools around here. I'm not sure what will show up in my record in regards to my English Professor getting me kicked out of my former college. I'm hoping that I can just go for another college and just start anew all together.
