At first glance, the Freedom Of Choice Act, a.k.a. FOCA, would seem like Roe vs. Wade the sequel. But this is what the minions of Satan, I mean, the liberals, won't tell you (courtesty of www.fightfoca.com):
The Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) would eliminate every restriction on abortion nationwide. FOCA will do away with state laws on parental involvement, on partial birth abortion, and on all other protections. FOCA will compel taxpayer funding of abortions. FOCA will force faith-based hospitals and healthcare facilities to perform abortions.
I'm not done yet:
FOCA would eradicate state and federal laws that the majority of Americans support, such as:
Bans on Partial Birth Abortion Requirements that women be given information about the risks of getting an abortion Only licensed physicians can perform abortions Parents must be informed and give consent to their minor daughter's abortion FOCA would erase these laws and prevent states from enacting similar protective measures in the future.
So is there freedom of choice in the Freedom Of Choice Act or is this is liberals' attempt to hold the country hostage with a radical agenda? Will this bill actually take away the fundemental freedom of faith-based hospitals and pharmacies, churches and pro-life Americans to refuse paying for and providing abortions, as well as an innocent baby's fundemental right to be born?

abortion should remain legal with restrictions, like if a minor comes in and asks for one, her parents/guardians will have to be informed. the fact a 15 year old girl can have an abortion and nobody has to know about it is just wrong on so many levels. granted, allow her to have the abortion before telling them so they cant make her have the baby, but let them know all the same. it would really wake some of these parents up to how much they actually suck.
ive never really been "pro" abortion, ive just always been pro population control. it just sucks that people that dont believe in birth control will bring a child into poverty. but it also sucks that people that can actually provide a good life for a child dont want them.

I believe in abortion with resonable restrictions. You only should be allowed to abort a embryo in the first trimester, when the embryo can't feel pain. Personally, I wouldn't do abortion but this world isn't perfect. People will do it anyway.
Also, allowing non-physicians to do abortions? Before Roe vs. Wade, people had non-legal abortions from shady doctors in vans. We are going to legalize that? At least it is illegal now. You know how many infections these women got? Not only did the unborn child die, but the mom herself was at serious risk.

I only believe that abortion should be legal for medical reasons.
Like, if the baby has a horrible birth defect, why make it suffer?
Or, if the baby will cause harm to the mother, I don't think letting both of them die is worth it.
Or, like on that one episode of House where the woman had to donate her kidney to her dying hubby and she was preggo...
