"And how come nobody told me this before I enrolled here?" she asked rubbing her temples. "My God! Now every time I go to class I'm going to be paranoid about half my classmates wanting to eat me..." she muttered.

Yume then blushed. "I'm sorry. That sounded really bad didn't it?" she said, embarassed. "I didn't mean to offend you or anything. I've just never had to deal with...well, anything like this really." she started to ramble. It was a nervous habit of hers. "But anyways, can I ask you some questions without sounding offensive or ignorant...well, maybe a little ignorant, since I am, but that's not really my fault, i mean, I thought it was all myth and whatnot..." she said, not pausing betwwen sentences or words for breath.
