Out of the Marauders, James is the best chess player and Sirius and Peter are the worst!

We know from canon that the other Marauders find out about Remus' lycanthropy in second year. In fifth year, Sapphire is going to tell him that she knows. Cay will be the first person that Remus actually tells about his condition, but it won't be until after graduation. Matelia never decided when Lily would confront Remus because she must have known. She said she wanted to see how the RP went. I'd appreciate it if it was a while after Sapphire did because I'd like her to be the first person that Remus knows acccepts him after his best friends.

James and Sirius need fangirls, so because unclaimed characters are available for everyone's use we're going to use canon female students that we don't know much about as fangirls.

Cay and Sirius are going to date for about a month before she tells him about her feelings for James.

Gwen will take up the position as Divination teacher after she graduates.

Gryffs have Herbology with Hufflepuffs, and Potions and Care of Creatures with the Slytherins, so they will have Charms with the Ravenclaws because there seems to be a Head of House pattern.

Quite frankly, it does not matter to me about the Black sisters. If everyone wants to do the deal in which they all are in school, that is fine with me. It might make it more fun because that is Narcissa and Bella taunting Sirius. smile .

Well, like I said, we just need something to be decided and go with it. Like the question of "are the Black sisters visiting their cousins?" We just need a decision. And in addition, I noticed Slytherin was talking about her character as if she had to stop playing after her character graduated from Hogwarts. To clarify, we are not ending anyone's characters after they graduate. Every character continues to play until they die, or we have reached November of 1981.

Has Amelia officially left the RP? I know that she fell short in doing Sev's profile, and hasn't chosen a different canon character yet, but I'm a little confused about whether she still plans on being here for her OC. If she is not, then Mary Macdonald's age will work and the Gryffindor Girls dorm will be full again. If she is planning on playing her OC, then Mary will have to be a year younger than the main group.

As for Mary Macdonald, Toast, good job! The only thing that I would question is if Mary is Muggleborn instead of Halfblood. I got the impression she is Muggleborn when reading Snape's memory, but I'm not sure if that idea is canon or not. You've done a good job fleshing her out from what little we actually do know.

And in case you want to mention it, there was a Magnus "Dent-Head" Macdonald that spearheaded a campaign to reintroduce the violent game of Creaothceann in the 1960s, but the effort failed. Thought you might like to know since he has the same last name as Mary.

Speaking of names that I researched, Suze, did you forget about Gaspard Shingleton? I thought you were going to put him on the character list. wink

Does anyone have any ideas for how we are going to work the days of the week? I know from reading time-lines on the Lexicon that Jo was rather free with the dates verses the days of the week. And thus, no matter what year it was, September 1st always fell on Sunday so that the first week of classes could be a full week starting on Monday September 2nd. Are we going to do the same, or are we going to follow the calendar days of the week from the actual year?

As for Lily's confronting Remus about his lycanthropy, I'm expecting around sixth year, unless something comes up in the rp to change that.

I too thought Mary would be Muggle-born, too, but Magnus changed my mind, I thought they would be related, and if he knew about Magical Sports, I assumed he would be a wizard. Plus, I already had one muggle-born, so I didn't really want another. wink

I like Jo's schedule, it makes things easier. But what about the students who are older than the Marauders? Do they have a class schedule? Or can we make up the class list as we go along? :3

I thought it meant Mary's relative or something, but it was really sad! cry There was a really sick girl named Natalie who lived in Canada, and she wrote to Jo, telling her she loved the books and things like that. Jo wrote back, giving her some info on the later books, but Natalie died before the letter got to her. :Crying: But if you look in the Fourth Book, McDonald, Natalie, was sorted into Gryffindor. heart

I'm glad that the Blacks got the living situation sorted out. smile We'll change the Black sisters' ages to what I suggested so they can all be in school together since no one has objected. If anyone still wants to suggest something else, I can always add a poll. whee

I like the profiles that Toast made, too! 4laugh In fact, in the Marauders' 4th year, Aaron and Sapphire are going to date! I was going to have Sapphire date some random character after Remus rejected her because it's too unrealistic for both of them to find true love with the first person that they date, (and Remus can't be the one to date someone else because he wouldn't date somebody that didn't know about his condition, which is why he turns Sapphire down in the first place) but dating a character that someone is actually playing is more fun! 4laugh Besides, I think that Sapphire and Aaron will be cute together. Toast and I worked out all of the details, but we can't tell you what they all are; you'll have to wait and find out! wink

Suze, we know from Snape's memory that he was with Lily at the train station since he saw her argue with Petunia, so I can't imagine why Lily and Sev wouldn't sit together on the train. If you want Cay to meet Lily alone, I think that you should wait until the Feast.
