A cage had been built around Zadkiel, and even more around that in the core of his base as a show of his power. Sentries were posted all about the cages, each a mock version of Kain allowing for perfect defense, though they lacked free will and thought. Zadkiel was a threat no more as he slept in the green liquid for all to see via monitors. Kain intended to show the world what he would do to such tyrants. The angel's mind had more or less been destroyed in the past months, now only a mentally unstable, sleeping gnat.
The site itself was built as a very large cube with etchings similar to those of the Lament Configuration found in the "Hellraiser" movies. He'd altered them a bit, but only he knew why. Various rings ran around the cube with random bridges leading to obvious docking ports. Around the cube were random spheres, many of them, all that contained life from Earth. Each one was either like a desert, a forest or an ocean. Each one had living residents, and on was even shrouded in a dark mist...an obvious host to Kain's home. The entire perimeter, the cube and neo-colonies included were surrounded in various barriers, from EMs to APs and even a specific AT Field.
Kain sat at his desk within the cube in a room filled with demonic and angelic artifacts, all of which he knew the others would love to take, examine, label and contain as SCPs. Kain's intention was to USE them against the real threats...
A man in a black lab coat and black scrubs would come to him, his face hidden behind a scarf though his voice would be as clear as day. He'd lay a filed on Kain's desk, then bow to him. "I've news, M'Lord."
Kain, now in his military uniform from the dark ages would do a 180* in his chair to face the man and look to the file with crimson hues before looking to his assistant, on of many he'd genetically created. "Is there a reason you're stalling in delivering it unto me, 14?"
14, as in he'd been the fourteenth to be born. He'd sigh and move to Kain's holo-globe and point to Romania. "Here, M'Lord. He calls himself Vladimir Vincent Dracul IV. I must say, Romania has prospered like it once did in the 1400s under his grandfather's rule. Crime rate is non-existent and all intruders have been fended off not by his army, but his people."
"So they believe him the Messiah reborn, yes? I knew him as Vincent Mikhail...I knew of Vlad...no, of Dracula. He was a mentor to me, but I abandoned him as I did all others. Vincent always spoke to him as he did no other: As if he were ABOVE him. It makes sense now...well. I assume he'd rebuilding his army; the only way that man can get his rocks off is through war. We've PLENTY of time for that; put him on the bottom of the priority list, though I do want info on his generals. I expect four or five."
"Yes M'Lord! Now then, the Overseers...meet with them, M'Lord. It is said Vlad Tepesh was doomed because he did not make time for the church that supported him...are they not the organization that supports you?" Now 14 was scared. He knew he had a valid point, but he also knew he spoke way out of line.
"...You've a point. 14, I shall return to Earth. Activate the Configuration and find 1. Tell him to do as I'd do." Kain would stand from his leather seat, his cape falling to the floor. He'd button down his leather trench and make sure both swords were in place at his hips and with that he was gone.
