Well, I saw this at the chatterbox in the Haven and I thought it'd be good to have so everyone know everybody else. Thus. I present!: One surprising thing you didn't know about me!
The title is a bit longish, I know, but it has been proven to be fun. All you do is post one fact about you most people don't know.
For example: I never legally went to kindergarden. My mom home schooled me and she didn't have state officals observe her teaching me. Thus, in order to prevent me from having to repeat it, we moved in with family from another state so that I could go to 1st grade. I moved back to my home after 6 months.
That one was kinda longish, but you should get the point! Now, someone should post something under me and there we have it!
Todah, the first kinda game-ish topic!

I can't have cream cheese, margarine, regular American cheese, or whole and 2% milk without getting a stomach ache. It's really bizarre because all other cheeses and dairy products are fine. It's not too inconvient; I just eat chedder cheese on my sandwiches, butter on my toast, and drink 1% milk.

I'm allergic to the main pain killers; morphine, codine, and apparently all the other -dines. Also, I have been allegric to Sulfa and sulfur since I was a baby, but I have yet to find out what Sulfa does. (I know it's a medicine, but for what? O.o And yes, I know Sulfur is a mineral. biggrin )

I've never heard of Sulfa, Suze, so I'm sory, but I have no idea.
I have long fingernails (my real nails; not fake ones). I keep them strong and shapely because I think they look nice, and for some reason I like it when people have nice hands. I get compliments on them once in a while. whee

It's quite okay Min. I just read that sulfa is a type of antibiotic. Also, about 3% of the world's population is allergic to it. That's not my fact though!
Hmm.. One of the state senators and a congressman from my state are coming to tour my school. They are coming to three specific classes and my engineering classroom is one of them. I will also be interviewed for the newspaper. One of the newspapers around my area is a national one and I think that's the one who will be there. I am quite excited. Plus, I love government!

I'm nervous about going to the dentist, but I enjoy going to the eye-doctor.

I decided I was going to be a doctor when I was three. At twelve, I changed my mind because I learned blood outside of the body makes me sick to my stomach. Thus, I decided to be a biomedical engineer so I can make medicines and such without having to look inside someone.

The sight of others' blood gives me nausea too, Suze. The sight of my own blood doesn't bother me. It did when I was young, but I had to get used to it because I was such a klutz and constantly got scrapes and cuts when I was child. I remember once when I was seven I had to come inside from playing with my friends and go to the bathroom to fix my skinned knee. I kept gagging and felt dizzy as I looked at it, though I forced myself to clean it up and put the bandage on because I knew it was going to happen again at some point. My own blood got progressively easier to deal with after that, and I'm thankful that it did because it would be quite unseemly for me to want to vomit whenever my monthly friend stopped by for a visit.

I got offered a chance for a 60k scholarship as a freshman (9th grade; 14 years old). Sadly that school doesn't have the programs I want sad .

I know more about Marvel comics than I do about make-up.

I'm finally comfortable with driving. exclaim For years, it terrified me. Last year, I passed my driver's test on the first try, but for the first months that I had it, I needed to sit in the car and give myself a pep talk before I was able to start the vehicle and start driving. I'm so glad that I'm not nervous about it anymore! biggrin

My grandfather lives on a farm. Well, I used to stay with him over the summer with my family. He had a 'driveway' that was about two acres long. As a four year old, I began 'driving'. (I sat on my Mom's lap and I put my hands on the steering wheel and she put her hands over mine.) I began using the peddles at nine. (Mom still helped me so I didn't goose it.) I am now proud to say I can work the peddles and steering wheel with my parents outside of the car. (I still only practice in driveways biggrin ) I'm scared to death to drive on the road by myself because I live near a lot of highways and beltways and to get anywhere you have to drive on those. I will be entering driving school in about 8 months I believe though biggrin . (My parents don't trust the school driving school so I am going to a private driving school. lol )

One thing you didn't know about me...
I never went to playground recess after sixth grade. At the end of sixth grade I was recruited to work with the lunch ladies selling the Ala Cart items and passing out lunch cards. It was fun, we got free lunches and even discounts on the Ala Cart items sometimes. ^_^

I can sing the entire Kaninie Krunchies jingle from 101 Dalmatians and even have it on my mp3 player. After my surgery, my mother says I constantly mumbled it to her.
