 Walking behind his heart's desire, Diamonte admired the way she walked, laughed, and spoke. She was in every way beautiful to him. It was only last week that he had asked her to be his mate. Not that he wanted anything like that right now, he was just happy traveling with her to find their new home.
"Mi precosia, are you hungry?" He asked, the spanish accent comming out and drawing into the english words. They hadn't eaten in a day and he was postive that she would be hungry by now.

 Zuli grinned as Diamonte spoke. Even hearing his voice made her smile these days... She still couldn't believe that he'd asked her to be his mate! I mean, sure, he'd flirted with her often before that, and Zuli had had no doubt that she'd had feelings for him, but Diamonte flirted with everyone! Which was why she'd been so happily surprised when he'd asked.
"A little," she confessed, dropping back a step to his side. Their shoulders touched, and Zuli felt her smile grow. "think we should hunt for a bit?"((I forget, did Diamonte ever meet Kyanos? Because if not we could pull him into this and roleplay that Zuli's taking Monty to meet her brother... ^^))

Monty smiled and licked her cheek sweetly. "Anything you want" He said then looked around scearching for any prey that may be in the area. He didn't see anything so he went on. "So mi precosia, where do you want to go? As you may say 'the world is our oyster'" He chuckled at himself. Figuring they could talk until any food came into range.
He was honestly happy for the first time in a lnog time, with his sister leaving him for her own family he had been alone for so long. It was nice to finally have someone that he could share his life with.

"Well..." Zuli hesitated, biting her lip, "I was thinking maybe you should meet my brother... Kyanos... We're in the same pack, and I'm sure he'd love to meet you... especially now that we're... officially..." She paused with a smile, looking up at him, "mates..."
She nuzzled his cheek, hoping that he'd agree. She really wanted the two most important guys in her life to meet, and - more importantly - get along.

((actually she hasn't been made yet. i created a back story for diamonte and created a hound that was his twin sister.))
Diamonte made a face, he was scared to meet her family. What if they didn't aprove of them being together? He wouldn't let her go that was for sure. But would she?
"Very well" He told her and smiled when she nuzzled him. "I will follow you anywhere"

(( Okay, good. ^^ Nice to know it's not just me being ignorant about my hound's boyfriend's family. whee and Raine can join in any time now. ^^ ))
Zuli saw the face her mate made, and tensed. What if he said no? She really wanted him to meet her brother... She relaxed when he agreed.
"Good," she smiled, hoping he'd be this cheerful in a moment or two, "because we're nearly there." She smiled sheepishly and walked a step faster.

Diamonte Padded faster to match her pace, his long sliver hair moving off his face. He was very worried about meeting her brother. Normally familes were very protective of their females, expically brother to sister.
Breathing a little deeper he tried to calm his nerves. It wasn't worknig at all.

Zuli noted Diamonte's worried appearance, and she nuzzled his cheek again gently.
"Don't worry," she said quietly, "It'll be fine. Kyanos is the nicest guy in the world - except for you of course - and I'm sure you'll get along great..."
I hope, Zuli added to herself as she walked. She looked out through the mist. Where was he? This was usually the area where he roamed....

Kyanos lay in the shelter of a large boulder, watching a raven circle high above in the sky. He was so focused on the bird that he almost failed to notice the sound of two voices somewhere nearby. One voice, however, was so familiar he couldn't avoid hearing it. "Zuli?" he whispered to himself, wondering what his sister was doing, and who she might be talking with. The second voice wasn't one Kyanos recognized. Curious, Kyanos tilted his head to one side, trying to hear better, but he didn't have much success. Sighing, he wondered if he had merely imagined the voices.

Diamonte smiled and licked her cheek. They walked through the mist and came to a sort of den area. Looknig as thought there was someone living here.
Well here goess nothing... he said and slowed his pace a little.

((Sorry for taking a long time. XD I post slow sometimes, and I had to get into my photobucket)) Rising to a sitting position, Kyanos sniffed the air, trying to get a scent to tell if anyone was nearby. Suddenly, he caught a faint trace of Zuli's scent through the mist. So she is here... he thought. Getting up, Kyanos stretched his legs, and shook himself, causing the bracelets on his forelegs to jingle slightly. "Zuli?" he called out, somewhat louder this time than he had first, trying to make sure she could hear him.

Zuli smiled as Kyanos's den came into view. She heard her brother's voice, calling her name.
"Kyanos!" She grinned in delight, trotting toward the den. She paused at the entrance. "Come on, Diamonte," she smiled at her mate. She went back to his side and nuzzled his side, whispering. "You'll be fine."
She went back to the den's entrance, waiting for her mate to join her.

Diamonte took a deep breaht then ran forward to catch up to Zuli. His heart was beating 200 miles per hour. "Heaven help me" He wispered quietly before following Zuli into the den.

Kyanos came toward the mouth of the rocky cavern that was his den as Zuli and Diamonte entered, nodding in greeting to his sister. "Hello, Zuli! I see you've brought a visitor." He remarked with a smile, looking toward the unfamiliar hound.

"Hey, Kyanos," Zuli grinned, knocking horns with him playfully, "and yes... Kyanos, this is Diamonte. Diamonte, meet Kyanos, my brother..." She took a deep breath, letting it out slowly.
"And um, Kyanos? Diamonte isn't just a visitor..." She paused, remaining quiet for almost a full minute before continueing. She wondered how he would take it. Would they get along? Would they fight? ... Oh, hopefully Kyanos wouldn't embarress her... "He's my mate."
