This battle ground used to be a popular beach, but it became very polluted, so no one wants to go there anymore. This makes it a perfect place for an open battle. There are next to no hiding places on the main beach, although there are some rocky areas in the shallow water. The ocean is dark and deep, and although of course no magical person could drown, it is rather cold and treacherous.
