Pasha sighed as she swerved around a tree, her antlers brushing softly against the branches above. It had been a while since she last ate and she scented the ground hungrily, even though she knew it would do her no good, for she was blind. She started on her way when suddenly, her ears flickered and she turned quickly to face the direction of the tree she had just passed. After a moment, she decided it was only the wind and passed on.
The fog that forever filled Oblivion had always bothered her. It seemed to be especially thick that day and she snorted with discontempt. She had never been in the area before and she gave a startled yip when her forepaws suddenly fell into a steam. When it became obvious to her that nothing was about, she leaned down to drink, splashing some water on her nose to smell better with the fog still around her.

Through the thick mist Ahriman hunted the deer that hid beneath the fogs of Oblivion. The creature he chased didn't stand a chance as it's leg had been broken falling down a cliff after Ahiman had separated it from its herd. Ahriman leaped onto it making it's legs buckle unable to support both their weight he killed it in a swift movement of his jaws clamping down on the back of its neck.
Ahriman looked around finding himself on the opposite bank of the stream a brown hound stood by. He dragged his kill underneath a thick pine tree and left it there. He'd take it to Seraph after he'd had some fun. Silently Ahiman jumped the stream and circled around behind the female hound.
"What are you doing all alone?" He asked innocently, putting up his gentlemanly visage.

Pasha pressed her ears forward when she heard a noise and she looked up for a moment. Her nose twitched as she scented the air and a scowl came upon her features when she realized the water didn't help much. She was still looking forward when a voice spoke behind her.
"One might ask you the same thing." she replied once she had turned to face him. She had learned early on in her travels that if she made it obvious she was blind, others were often uncomfortable, and she had no wish to make the seemingly gentleman-like hound feel that way. "Unless you have a few friends close by?"

Ahriman shook his head "Nay, m'dear lady I have no friends nearby I only travel alone." He lied smoothly it was true he had no 'friends' but his mate was nearby though she could find out about this a bit latter on. When she turned around the first thing he noticed was her light blue pupil less . Perhaps she was blind; it would explain why though he was right in front her she hadn’t seen him.
“You are unable to see dear lady.” he said with a frown, “does no one help someone such as you anymore?” So blind… She couldn’t see his white pelt covered in blood nor his inverted eyes. One may think he was blind, The Devil wasn’t.
It might be a little easier than he thought.

Pasha nodded as she listened to him. She was traveling alone, as well. She thought she heard a faint 'clink' everytime he spoke, but, not wanting to be rude, she ignored it. "Yes." she murmured when he mentioned her blindness. It wasn't exactly a secret and she noticed that most hounds seem to realize it soon enough, although she was surprised that the male in front of her happened to discover it so soon. "My family used to help me, but I left them." She shrugged as if it were nothing although her wistful sigh spoke otherwise.
She pawed at the earth to make sure there weren't any sharp stones nearby before sitting down, lowering her ears a bit. "My name is Pasha, in case I haven't mentioned it before." she said, dipping her head slightly in his general direction. "And yours?" She had met enough hounds before to know that exchanging names was the polite thing to do although sometimes she forgot, seeing as she was used to living with her family for so long.

Ahriman noticed how she quietly said her answer "I see, is there anything I can do to help?" he offered she must have a hard time hunting since she can't see. And the fact she was blind made things much easier.
"You miss your family Lady Pasha." Ahriman said with a smooth caring tone "Have you no mate to care for you either to make up for living from your family?" he tossed his jet back hair to one side of his face.
"My name is Ahri lady Pasha." the devil introduced himself.

"No. But thank you for offering." Pasha replied, a soft smile forming on her lips. She thought it was kind of him to ask, but she didn't really believe there was a way to help. Sure, the occasional gifts of game and shelter were nice, but she didn't want to live her life dependant on others, and the sense of sight was impossible to give.
At mention of her family, she lowered her ears a bit. "Don't we all?" she said. She tapped a claw on the ground, remembering them. She missed them dearly, but she had always felt like a burden to them, and the thought of independance was irresistable at the time when she had left. "No... no, mate." She had never really thought of having one, and at that moment, she felt lonelier than ever, even with the kindly hound nearby.
She threw up her horns as if to dismiss the subject and the feeling itself, dipping her head once more. "Greetings, Ahri." she said, as she felt the first words between them didn't really count as a greeting. At that point, she truly did believe the hound in front of her meant no harm. Even when a soft wind blew, throwing the scent of dried blood to her. Her ears raised and her nose twitched as she took in the scent. "Are you... are you hurt?" she asked, confused. Ahri certainly didn't sound pained but then again, voices could be decieving. She scolded herself for not noticing earlier, and took a step forward, as if to offer help.
