i love making things and getting dressed up, so if only for this reason i love them. But if going to a con it has to be something your into or eles its just not fun
Yeah, me and my sister are supposed to be going to one next year, since it will take that long to get our costumes together as well as hotel and air fare (although I'm not sure she's going to want to get on a plane now). We like to dress up, and of course I've never been to one (she's been to at least 3)...and of course I really don't like 'elitist'...they take the fun out of it, I think.
