The master of time, Epoch. They say the only thing constant in the universe is Time, and even for one that holds time in their hands, the rule still applies. Epoch learned early on that time is not to be trifled with. The apparent death of his beloved guardian, Hale Saotome, has left the young Dust with a lingering sense of guilt, and no amount of repentance can alleviate him of the feeling. He is hesitant to use his powers, especially in the presence of living creatures, for fear that he may once again lose control and kill another time.

On the edges of the countries of Helena and Ardya, a border village is nestled
into a hilly forested farmland. On the outskirts of town, down a winding dirt
road and along a bushy hedgerow, set right next to the sweetpeas and hollyhocks,
is a small cottage house with a thatched roof and fieldstone walls.

This is GranGran's house, always with the sweet scent of freshly baked cinnamon
rolls wafting from the open windows. Epoch effectively 'grew up' in the small
picturesque cottage, raised by the old woman who found him at the base of
Hale's statue in town.

Epoch lives in a tiny makeshift treehouse in the forests just outside of Aimes.
He travels back and forth from town every day, always stopping on a low stone
wall to eat a meal that usually consists of a loaf of bread, slices of cured meats,
and a bottle of milk. He lives out here because he is always worried that he
might lose control of his powers and end up killing someone else.

This has turned him a bit reclusive at times, and he tends to avoid making friends
of any sort out of concern for their well being. Almost everyone he meets is
considered an acquaintance so he doesn't get too close.

→ Describe somewhere, either in your journal or in roleplay, the development of your Dust's skills.
