i live quite out the way of the town on a farm with 2 other houses next to me. the towns etc got all they're recycling bins etc ages ago, they got paper, glass, plastic and compost bins.
but because i live on a farm we (and the houses next door) dont qualify for compost bins :S
they seem to think that because i live in a feild i will happily sprinkle my leftovers on the garden....
its probs just some scheme to save money and i dont especially care about compost bins, but out of principle i want a compost bin dammit!!!!
(okay im off college for half term, and my sad little life means that this is the most important thing happening atm...i'm sorry razz )

... I lived in the middle of farm country and we set up our own compost system... before that the nabours had a field we could drop s**t into. (with two big dogs, sometimes even literally)

(with two big dogs, sometimes even literally) lol well we do have a "muck heap" for guinea pig bedding, chicken an horse muck, but its halfway down a feild an i refuse to walk that far for potatioe peelings, plus my neibours dont hav feilds to put "compost stuff" in, and tbh wouldnt really want them trampsing down our feild(they're townie nutters to put it politly) urgh -.-

Looks like that's your best option, though. Either stick with the muck heap you have or build another compost bin. They must've figured since you live on a farm that you already have one since it's good for the environment and an easy way to produce free fertalizer. Many people don't realize the difference between plant, animal, and combination ranches... stare Even if you have have animals, there's always your fields, though...kind of...

We've passed a law that will make any vehicle not up to the emissions standard illegal to drive on the streets. Which is pretty much...EVERY VEHICLE IN THE USA!!! Oh, and any powersource that comes from a non-green basis will be outlawed and overtaxed. Which means if you have ANY source of electricity in your house your bills are about to double...

I figured you did. I was more talking to the people here in the Americas with me and informing you of our troubles. Yeah, our politicians try that too. The difference is that ours fail...MISSERABLY!!! 3nodding Anyways, I have no worries because my vehicle is fuel efficient and all that s**t. It might need a couple tweeks, a tune up, and somethings replaced, but for the most part she's good. I'm looking at about $100 at the most. Funny how the government pulled this from Californian standard and thus wanted everyone to come up to said code. And yet, California is one of the most in dept states in America...and their debt grows by the second... Yes, not weeks or days or hours, but seconds! And we're taking their example... Thus is why I invented the word: Burrent!
