The Alcove
Lachesis's alcove is lit with shafts of golden sun, which sweep across the sparse room as the sun travels upon its path. Upon the floor sits a many sided mat, trimmed in red and gold.
Opposite the entrance, the wall curves around three hexagonal windows...the largest flanked by the two smaller. Under the main window is a bamboo sprout, nestled in a hand painted pot of china blue dragonflies. Mounted carefully upon the rich wooden wall, above the pair of tiny windows, are two petite antique fans...underlit by the gleam of sun below them. Just outside of the windows are curls of climbing roses, with little pink buds that nod in the wind.
A single golden bell, tiny and perfectly pitched, hangs from the center of the ceiling...disturbed only by the occasional breeze if the shutters are not drawn. As the wind swirls, the smell of cedar and cinnamon wafts through the chamber, tempting and nostalgic...
A tiny coiled basket rests against the east wall, the lid pressed firmly down. Within it are a few of the Dagger's possesions...crystal shards and plastic armor, a cup and bowl with little chopsticks, and a ball of wax for polishing her legs. In the very bottom of the basket hides a tiny treasure...wrapped carefully in a scrap of silk.
The door is always open, Lachesis will never shut her room to another Dagger. Her nights are more often spent in her origami nest, however, which hangs over the sink in the kitchen of the Villa!

Fierce warriors and proud of it, these Oculai want you to know that small stature is by no means a weakness. Over generations this Order has focused on honing their combat skills and thus have the weakest clairvoyant power. Despite this they remain amongst the most influential of Orders for they fight to keep Oculai free. To aid their divination they keep a pouch of rune stones handy, but with their quick temper they are just as likely to throw them as a weapons as to cast them.
