The whole point of RP bonuses is to get people to RP more, so it's strictly against the rules to reuse RPs... with a few exceptions.
1) If you use an RP to bond two dragons or get a chance at an extra egg during a breeding, you can't use that RP for a breeding bonus or bonding ever again. You may use it to help one of your dragons unlock a latent magical ability, however.
2) If you use an RP to unlock one dragon's latent magical ability, you can't use it to help unlock a second dragon's latent magical ability as well. You may use it for breeding bonuses, however.
3) If you participated in an RP, you may use that RP for bonuses (as long as you follow the first two rules), even if the other people in the RP already used that RP.
4) Confused? Not sure which RPs you've used? That's why there's a list! Just check to see which of your RPs are listed as used or not, and which sections you've used them for. 3nodding
