So according to Yahoo's Playback, Sony is planning to put both cinema movies and games on blu-ray discs. I only see two flaws with this - 1) This will probably only apply to Sony Pictures productions, and 2) What about the games that need all the drive space? A year or so into the Ps3's lifetime, and we've already encountered a game that used up all 50 gigabytes (MGS4). Is putting a 2-3 hour HD movie onto that disc such a good idea? I mean, we all know Blu-ray is huge, but everything has limits!
Also, some (all) games pump adrenaline into the body, which can lead to heightened anxiety and stress, which I know all too well after dying too many times on CoD4. However, Tetris is proven by Oxford to help soothe a sufferer of post-traumatic stress. So instead of seeking Snake's head on a platter, the Beauty and the Beast Corps could have just played Tetris.
