oh so Extravagant... Has anyone had one? Discuss it here. I'm interested to see what people have to say about this topic.

Extravagantly Yours oh so Extravagant... Has anyone had one? Discuss it here. I'm interested to see what people have to say about this topic. I've had a few. One, when I was very young, and going under general anaesthetic. I watched myself having surgery. I don't remember all of them because they were mostly under traumatic circumstances. I do remember one when I had just recovered from a rage/crying attack and I was at my bf's house in the kitchen. I was at the sink, going to do dishes. I had just been talking to (fighting with maybe?) my mom. Anyhow, I started feeling as though I were drifting away from my body. I didn't like it at all. Other times I've felt disconnected from my body, but not necessarily 'out' of it. like, unable to control what it was doing, but still mentally present somehow. Very weird sensation...

Not... not really. This might just be my imagination, but when I try to remember certain things, I remember watching myself do something. Like, once, when I was in the hospital, I guess I had to walk to a cat scan room, but I was too out of it (tired. I was there from 8pm to 3:15am) to even remember. But now, as I try and remember it, I can see little glimpses of myself stumbling along the hallway to the CAT scan room.

тεℓℓ мε ωнαт ι αм αℓℓ αвouт... Twisted- It's possible those were OBEs
I've had quite a few. Most are the feeling of falling back into my bed that usually happens when I wake up. But I trained myself to project my astral body out of my physical body pretty well. It's a rather neat sensation, especially if you can get yourself on the astral planes. A Quest---

It's like, I'll be dreaming about being in school, and I'll wake up feeling like I fell into my bed. Like I jumped from the dream back into consciousness or something...

Are we distinguishing "OBE"s from "shamanic" practises, journeying etc?

Where do you draw the line? I like to think they're distinct... or that there's overlap but they're generally different things. Perhaps intention.

I never thought of it as astral projection before. Maybe I should look into that.

To start with, I engage in the use of marijuana. No, it's not medical use. I feel smoking helps me to better connect and understand the universe.
Anyways, it was the very first time my Dad and I had smoked together. My dad has a very high energy level. A lot of what I know (magically) I learned from him.
Anyway, him, his friend brian and I all smoked. We only smoked one bowl between 3 people. It wasn't laced with anything, and usually, it takes me at least 3 bowls to get high. We were all in my Dads hotel room. After we smoked, we all simpoly sat there for 5 hours. No one moved and no one said anything, we were all in like a very heightened meditational state. Anyways, I had closed my eyes for a second, and when I opned then, the room seemed to be breathing, it would get bigger and then smaller, like it was breathing.
I closed my eyes again and slightly shook my head to clear my vision and when I opned my eyes, I was looking down on myself. My first and only thought was " I should be in there" (looking at my body). So mentally, I closed my eyes and shook my head again and when I opened my eyes, I was back in my body and everything was normal again.

Umm i've never had a really huge expirience, but my brother said that he had one. Where he watched himself sleep over night, and then he said when he awoke he felt himself sink back into his body.
