I'm afraid I need some advice on contacts...and say water... We're having a dispute on whether or not contacts can be worn in the sauna. My sister has a valid point but I don't know. I'd really hate to have to wear my glasses in the sauna or steam room next time we go to the gym to workout... and it sucks not being able to see...
If it is true that contact simply can't be worn in water (indoor pool and all) or become a problem in the presence of extreme heat and humidity, I may have to just rely on what sight I do have without my glasses (what a pain, I could really hurt myself if I'm not careful) but I'm not really as blind as people think, I just can't make out details, like words or see things clearly, a bit like Velma on Scooby Doo.

Text to go before each message
i do believe they make contacts that you can get wet check out the kinds you can wear for a week straight with out taking out-they are most likely water proof, since your gonna have to wear em in the shower

True, I hadn't thought of that, since I usually don't bother, but I have a fairly solid command of my bathroom at home so I can basically find things in the dark there.
But now that I think on it, we were looking at some water-based contacts (at least I was) until we got distracted by the colors and the ones that can be worn for a week or a month.
I've finally convinced my sister to invest in some prescribed contacts...she's got these wolf contacts that look adorable but they don't fit since she bought them from some lady at a con last year. I was mad when I found out, since her sights not something to play with.
