Oriana awoke to the bright sun shining through her window. she slipped out of bed and into her slippers to shuffle out the door, teleporting to her front door to look at the sun rising on her beautiful land.

Hali was sitting at the very edge of the extended yard of the castle and smiled back at her sister, "I got your coffee for you... black, just how you like it."

Oriana smiled and sat next to her sister, taking the coffee and inhaling the intoxicating scent. she shivered and sighed, "It's their anniversary... isn't it?"

Hali nodded, "Yep, The day Mommy and Daddy left us to run the kingdom." Hali snuggled closer to her sister and laid her head on her shoulder, "Everything seems so empty without them."

"Everything seems more peaceful... I've been ready to take over the castle for a very long time... you're the one who slacked." Oriana stood up and smiled, "Therefore, You attend the public events, and i'll stick to this place and take care of the paperwork... we'll make a good team that way."

Hali looked a bit paranoid, "But how... will you meet a husband like that?"

Oriana stopped, a few steps away from her sister and smiled, "I don't need a man to get me through the cold nights... i tend to enjoy them. Alone." She continued her walk back to the castle to begin her daily routine.

Hali sighed and looked down at the large lake below, "She'll meet someone some day daddy... you'll see."

The second something so much as touched her roof she summoned a black flaming ice longbow that was three fourths her length. it loaded and ready to go by the time the body hit the floor.

Oriana cautiously walked into the chapel of her home and looked the body over, never letting her guard down.

Hali came dashing in and slammed the door behind her, "What the hell was that?!" she exclaimed as she burst through the door of the chapel. she noticed her sister with the arrow to the poor creature's face and frowned, "For the love of christ, Oriana, Do you really think she's going to move?!"

Hali pushed the arrow away and touched the girls back, "Dear, Are you conscious??"

"Hali, Do you really think she could possibly be conscious from a fall that high?!" Oriana mocked as she released the tension of the string.

She growled and turned her attention back to the girl, "I'm going to try to set you up... can you drink some water?" Hali flailed her hand at her sister, indicating for her to go get a glass of water.

Oriana rolled her eyes and vanished the bow, leaving the chapel to fetch her sister a glass of water.

She helped the girl sit up and lean against the pew, "You're in Aquious... You crashed through the sky roof in the chapel." Hali looked the girl over, shocked to see she only had a few scrapes and bruises.

Oriana returned, grumbling to herself about something and nearly dropped the glass when she saw the young woman sitting up, "Here's the water you wanted..." she muttered as she handed the glass to her sister.

Hali took it quickly and placed it in the hands of the girl before her, "Do you need help lifting it, or are you alright?" she asked, brushing a few shards of glass out of her hair with her free hand.

Hali frowned, "I'm sorry... I couldn't help you with that... I just heard you crash through the glass, and came running... But you're welcome to stay here till you figure something out... We have plenty of rooms." She smiled and stood up, "It's a large home, but you get used to it quick."

Oriana growled at the thought of someone else living in her home, but just figured she'd keep her guard up, and not let her do anything shady. After all, the girl remembers where she lives... she just needs to figure out how to get back. So it shouldn't take too long, right?

Hali smiled, "Whenever you are ready, I can give you a basic tour, and show you a few rooms to choose from."

Oriana walked away without introduction, and went straight to the kitchen to continue eating breakfast.

Hali smiled, "OH! How silly of me! I'm Hali Drei, and that grumpy woman sulking around would be my sister Oriana. She's really mopey... Maybe you'll be able to cheer her up, but for now just keep a bit distant."

Hali brought her up the grand staircase in the entrance, and brought her to the north wing, "here's the wing i stay in... my sister is in the south wing. Basically you can pick any room in this hall... but one's a bathroom, and one's a library that doubles as a study... so i don't think you want to sleep in there. My room is to the left of the library, so any room but those three can be yours. And feel free to use the study and bathroom as you please... they're always open." Hali smiled, "I'll leave you to get a room picked out and explore the north wing... Be back in a half an hour or so." she waved to Savarti and went downstairs to the kitchen.

Hali went down to the kitchen and grabbed a bowl, and began making some oatmeal. she poured a cup of coffee and dropped three cubes of sugar in it and poured the creamer in her coffee, 'one... two...' she lifted it and stirred.

"Want some coffee with your sugar and cream?" Oriana grumbled as she flipped through the paperwork she had to go over today.

"Shush you." Hali grumbled as she stirred the oatmeal boiling to a thick paste on the stove, "forget to take your daily dose of 'cheer up!'"

Oriana shook her head and sipped her coffee, "Is that the best you've got?"

She growled and poured the thick paste into a bowl, adding honey and sugar to it, "Listen... you being a b***h isn't going to change the fact that I invited her into our home. She's not going to be leaving here any time soon, and there's nothing you can do about that." Hali took a seat next to her sister and smiled, "So get used to her. Her name is Savarti." Hali smiled and began to eat her breakfast.

Oriana grumbled and collected her things, "I'm going up to my study... Don't bother me." she stormed out of the room, frost crackling across the wood floor. she made it to her study and slammed the door behind her, letting the boom echo throughout the castle halls.

Hali finished up her breakfast and finished her sugar coffee, "Alright... hopefully she didn't get lost..." she mumbled to herself as she slid her dishes into the sink. she left the kitchen and walked over to the north wing. she went to the first room, knocking, then entering, "Helllllooooo?" she called as she entered the room.

"It's been about a half an hour... I came to check up on you... Are you tired, because i can come back in a while... i still need to go swimming today, and see if i can find...Someone..." Hali frowned and looked at the ground, "But enough on the depressing stuff!" she shouted as she clapped her hands together, "You've had a rough day... I'll let you rest. There's towels in the bathroom if you'd like to take a bath... It would probably do your sore muscles some good!" she chimed as she walked out the door, "If you get hungry the kitchen is back down in the main entrance and to the left. The opposite side of the chapel."

Hali waved as she slipped out the door and down the side stairway to the grand staircase and slipped out the door to the yard. she took a deep breath and let it out slowly, "Today.... I will find someone like me!" she reassured herself as she dove off the edge of the yard and plummeted to the water below. as she hit the water, her feet turned into a long scaly tail with a large soft tail to propel herself through the water. she looked around in the crystal clear water and sighed, diving down to begin her search for another like her.

Oriana glanced up from her paperwork and stared at the woman in the doorway of her study, "Can I......help... you?" she growled setting the stack of papers aside.

Hali twirled and giggled feeling the water brush over her. she was almost having too much fun to look for her own race... she just figured she'd bump into one. she swirled around top of the water and felt something snag her top, at the same time she tried to pull away... she heard a bell. Her eyes widened, "Oh s**t..."

She descended quickly and tried to grab the strings of her bikini top and get it unhooked... when that failed she took it off and struggled to get the hook out.
