Seki lives alone in an apartment in town, but his hometown is Hokkaido. Seki wants to be a Physicist, so he’s studying hard to get into the best college.

Background:
The series' main Protagonist. A sixteen year old male virgin studying at Kyuugetsu Academy. He's a perverted boy who loves to play lewd jokes. He enjoys collecting rare juice cans and basically likes juices. One day, he bought a melon soda that transformed into a girl, which was an Akikan. He was later invited by Hidehiko Otoya to join the "Akikan Elect" and "Intelligence Port Project" but being a person who hated fights, he rejected the invitation (although he was later forced to participate). Later, he made his mind to crush those projects together with his comrades. A certain incident during his sophomore/junior high school days made him afraid of hurting somebody.

Background:
Ashuri was like a typical American Otaku... and she wanted to go to Japan. Thus, she moved there to attend high school. She lives in the same apartment complex as Kakeru, and attends Kyuugetsu Academy as well.
In fact, she's friends with Kakeru, and unlike Kochikaze, doesn't really mind his perverted tendencies. In fact, she has on occassion, laughed at his antics more than others.
Her hobbies mainly include watching Anime and listening to Japanese music. She has the uncanny ability to pick out seiyuu from anything she watches... a skill that's frightened Kakeru on more than one occassion.
Ashuri's current goal in Japanese life is to break into a voice acting career. However, this hardly means studying for her, and she tends to slack off a lot of the time. Her ability to get good grades while slacking however, annoys the hell out of the class...
However, Ashuri and Kochikaze are locked in a battle. At least in the minds of the male students of Kyuugetsu Academy... a battle... of who has the bigger bust-line...

--- "Ichigo Seed Tornado!" (Produces strawberry seeds that attack like flying pebble-projectiles... works as an offense) - (can only be done by Age 5 Shortcake)
--- "Ichigo Special Shake!" (Produces a torrent of strawberry flavored milkshake that is incredibly sticky and hard to get off... works as an immobilizer) - (can only be done by Age 11 Shortcake)
--- "Ichigo Powder Defense!" (Produces a cloud of pink dust... works as a defense shield) - (can only be done by Age 17 Shortcake)
--- "Ichigo Strawberry Blast!" (Produces a strawberry fruit, much like Melon's attack, that is then hurled at an enemy and explodes... works as an offense) - (can only be done by Age 17 Shortcake)
Weapons: Katana that... is pink! It's hidden in her kimono (only available to Shortcake aged 17).
Background:
Shortcake was released from her Kan by Ashuri.
She actually has three ages, depending on how much of her drink is left inside the can. When there is a lot, she appears as a 5 year old. When there is about half the can, she appears as an 11 year old. When the can is nearly empty, she appears as a 17 year old. When her can is refilled, she is 17 still, until the second sip is taken, then she reverts back to her 5 year old self.
Her favorite color is pink, which drives Ashuri insane because Ashuri HATES pink... but she does love her strawberries...
However, the name of "Shortcake" which was given to her by Ashuri... doesn't much suit her tastes and so, she constantly tries to remind people that she wants to be known as 'Kyoko'. This makes one of her most used phrases; "Shortcake ja nai! Watashi wa Kyoko desu!"
