The Swamp village. A powerful ninja village known for their constant feuding with their neighbors nations for land. Known as the most powerful ninja military around they have recently been invaded by the White Hand. The village wasn't able to hold them off and is currently in shambles. However many of their ninja still remain and protect the village. It is quickly being rebuilt.
The village is in the middle of a deadly swamp littered with traps. Those who don't know the way are often lost within the muck. Countless Swamp ninja litter the swamp and will kill anyone who isn't on official business dealing with the Swamp Village.

Kashin stood at the gate waiting for his team to arrive. "Man, I hope the team shows up soon...."

Taka was the first of Kashins team to arrive. He wore the Gaioh shinobi uniform, which he only wore when traveling outside of the village. His long black hair was cut so that it wouldn't hinder his ability to see. He strolled casualy towards Kashin taking carrots out of a plastic bag and eating them.. "Yo..." He swallowed and let out a satisfied "ahh". "Whats up? Now all thats left to wait for is Manndar and Aona, correct?" He offered the bag of carrots to Kashin.

"No thanks Taka." Kashin was happy to see one of them had finally shown. "Yup just waiting on them..." Through his mind Kashin conducted some quick last minute checks.

"Sorry I'm late." Manndar said with a sigh. "I started writing a compendium of all my knowledge, and time kind of flew by."
Manndar then took his notebook and put it in his backpack. He then continued to rummage through it. Risu, Manndar's pet squirrel, jumped out of the backpack and crawled up onto his shoulder. "I believe I have everyting..... Except I'm a little hazy on the details of the mission. Could you remind me please?"
Manndar smiled a big and innocent grin.

Calmly, quietly, Aona approached the group, glancing across the group once before looking around the area absently. "Sorry I took so long, had a few last minute ideas. Switched out most of my poison supply for stuff that's especially exotic to swamp dwellers, if anyone wants some," she offered. She was well stocked on weapons and scrolls strapped across her body, her backpack full of anything she was less likely to need immediately at hand."

Once Aona arrived he smiled proudly. "I am glad you all made it late or not..." Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a scroll to scan it quickly. "Alright we are to head to the Swamp Village. Our main objective is to gain information from one of their informants." Placing the scroll back in his pouch he sighed. "We all know anything concerning Chaos can lead to what his name states...." He placed his mask on the side of his head. "So I hope you are all prepared...."

Taka looked to Manndar nodding his head. When Aona approached the group he smiled and raised his hand. "I'd like some." He double checked his equipment and even checked it a second time. He nodded his head to Kashin.

Poison wasn't really Manndar's style of combat, so he politely shook his head for a no. Aona kknew Manndar well enough to know that the closest thing to poison he ever used were tranquilizers.
"I'd better not accept no matter what." Manndar thought. "We still aren't back to friendly speaking terms, and she just might 'give me some'. And that would suck."
"So, shall we go then?" Manndar asked with his usual eager tone. "Time to put an end to Chaos's shenaniganery!"

"Yes I think it would appropriate that we get moving..." Kashin slowly began to walk from the gate exiting the village. He pulled out the map he was given. "Manndar and Aona, I chose both of you because of both of your experiences in the Swamp village. There any bits of wisdom Taka and I should know before hand?"

Manndar had never even been to the Swamp Village that he knew of. In fact, he's never seen an official swamp before.
"Uhm.... Yeah..... Lets go!" Manndar said as he pointed his hammer out towards the gate. He then put it back on his back with his backpack and began walking.

"Actually, Kei was on the last trip to the Swamp Village, not Manndar," Aona pointed out, a hint of fondness in her voice. That mission had been where they had first become a real couple, owing largely to how easy it was, and the village being fairly nice. She tossed a small satchel, loaded with a couple vials, labeled with names and descriptions for Taka's convenience.
"As far as things to know... hm. It's not the hardest village to sneak into, though I was with Chaos last time. However, we need to avoid anything that could get us into a fight. Swamp is bigger than Gaioh, and Chaos' family lives there; while I'm not sure of their individual opinions of their little black sheep, I do know that the rest of the family is considerably more loyal to their home, and as far as I know any family members other than his father are at least A-rank ninja," she explained more in-depth.

Kashin nodded to Aona taking a mental note of everything she was saying. "Oh, sorry Manndar I did not mean to confuse you with that situation. This is to gain intel that was voluntary offered so I think we won't have to worry about sneaking in..."
Looking to the sky Kashin was able to see the blue perfectly. It seemed like it may not be a horrible mission. "Fortunately Kei and I were able to exchange information on tactics."

"Don't worry about it." Manndar said. "After living here, I've gotten used to being confused."
Manndar then ran towards and up the gate and looked off towards the horizon, and a glimmer of excitement came into his eyes. "The Swamp Village..... I can't wait!"

Taka caught the satchel, and peered inside. He closed it back up and gave Aona a thumbs up and a light smile. Taka was a bit excited to be leaving the village. It was the first time he was going to be leaving the village in what seemed like years, and it was about a six months from his last mission. He looked at Manndar, though he listened to Aona and nodded when she was finished speaking. "A-Ranked ninja, huh?" He cracked hsi neck and fingers. "Shouldn't be too much of a problem I hope."
