Hello ery one...
So i have some ideas?!!! prob some you'll like, and some you'll beet me over the head for maybe? who knows... but i figured I'd throw them out their...
1. SO as everyone has been noticing and talking about is the inactivity of the guild... The only post really being used is Wahaha! i did it!
WE NEED TO CHANGE THIS!@!!!!
2. So instead of us all just talking about it, lets do something about it!
I think its time that we Clean up our guild... we have post from 06-07.... STILL... i suggest making a team and cleaning up all the old posts that haven't been used in forever, 06- (some) 08's...
NOw i say this because i think this is a big step in getting new members... i mean they come in here and they see a messy unused forum, and it prob confuses them and puts them off... and then they enter a realm... and bam... they have even more mess, inactive realms without masters, and where's the students...? bye bye, new member!
We need to clean up! we need a team to do soo...
3. Banners... i think a big part of this problem, is our lack of promotion... now i love having a sick sig as much as the next dude, but i think it would be beneficial to get new members interested? WE ARE A GREAT RPing guild, and we should promote it! new members means new apprentices and future masters to help keep this place thriving...
4. OLD A$$ MEMBERS.... dude I've noticed and you all have noticed members that come for about a week and disappear for ever... time to get a team in here and get them out...
4.1 MASTERS... in no way do i blame's you at all, but their are some really sick masters that are always around, and a lot, that ummm don't exist? (no names) so um I'd be nice if we either got rid of some, or got more active? idkk... that's a touchy situation i don't want to get into... but their ar-e def apprentices out their waiting for their masters to never return and that makes them leave and it SUX>...
The members that are here are some new, and a lot of older ones... now im not a master so i cant really do these things.... sooooooo
I say the members that are here, need to work together, from the apprentices who can promote in forums, with banners, and words.... and the masters who can clean up areas...
WE Need to tighten up this guild if we want to survive, and it's gunne be work, but we're a sick guild? I don't think anyone of us wants it to die? some of u are freinds, and peeps... we have some good times... SO i def think its times to makes some teams and work on these things....
BUT ANYWAYS... im not gunna rant anymore, Im just gunna let u all beet me over the head lol... idk wada u think?

O; Why does the guild always have to change?
I've heard the same suggestions over and over again, that we need to be more active... but quite honestly, I don't really see a problem with how we are. We're busy people with lives outside the guild. I don't want to turn this place into a full-time job, I wanna come here and relax and chat with my friends here.
One of the problems I have with the whole system in general is that the new recruits we get always just think they can prance in here and just instantly become a master. I think if we had some kinda point system, it'd be a lot easier to track who's an active, competent apprentice, how strong they are, etc. I'm sick of always getting people always offering themselves for a Master position when they just waltzed in.
I'm meaning no disrespect in anything that I say, but I think we're just fine. And as long as a few of us are still here, it's impossible for us to die off completely. Unlike a couple of the other guilds I'm in.
And I'll get to work moving some of the old threads into the Recycled subbie (though I refuse to touch the actual elements subbies because I don't want to move something that someone doesn't want moved; I'll leave it to the Masters of said subbie to deal with those at their own discretion) Ie: Basically I'm only gonna bother to clean the RP forum and perhaps the main page. :3

In my recollection, this point has been brought up many times and then shot down again. Did someone miss the memo, or are people just persistent in changing the awesomeness we have?
Lemme think... when the guild was the most active... I was in grade 8. I'm in grade 11 now. So not only has this guild stood up for YEARS, it also still has quite a good portion of it's members accumulated over those years. I think I'd say that shows persistence on our part if nothing else.
Anyways, as I was saying, that was when I was in grade 8. That's when a lot of us hardly had anything to do besides avoiding homework. Now, many of us are in the last couple years of highschool, or already out and working on university.
I wholeheartedly agree with Vivi there. I just wanna chill with my friends here and have fun. Why turn it into a full time VOLUNTEER job and forget our offline responsibilities that we hold? It makes no sense to me.

I've also come to the conclusion that I don't mind if this guild dies, just as long as I keep talking to the people I come on here to talk to. I've made friends here that I'll probably keep for years and years to come, who are growing up with me and moving on in their lives as I am. I haven't created any new ties with any of our new members, and hardly any of them even bother to stick around long enough for that to happen. We don't have any little 11 year olds coming on and joining and becoming part of our family.
So I say leave it. If you're so torn up about a guild's inactivity, do something else. I'm here for the feeling and the people. Not the place.
That's something most people don't seem to understand.

Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa.....Whoa....You're not saying that I'm a newbie are you cuz I'm the one who's been wanting that Volcano Master Position for like two years lol but if thats the way you feel about me.... crying I have corner I shall go pout in. Haha
Well I just wanted to say there are some great people in this guild. And yeah Yall are me second family and maybe my first and I wouldn't ever want to let any yall go because, in real life Gler and Iko and some other friends is all I have out of a high school of about 3 thousand...This place well at first some people welcomed me but you gotta admit ya'll missed me a little....like my newbieness back in the day....all the godmodding I did...ya'll always getting pissed off cuz I posted way to many things that I wasnt supposed to....Ya'll probably don't have anyone to scold anymore like that if I left indefinately right....
Well Shoji isn't leaving his home anytime soon!!

I disagree with MASS, I'm preeetty sure we're a little better than the Chatterbox! O;
I was going to clean up the RP subforum right now, but then I realized just what a big task it was O; Don't have the time right now.
