Personality: Bubbly and happy, Keelah seems to always be smiling and laughing. Even the hardest, dullest chore can't break her mood since she makes a game out of everything. She is also full of energy, taking on just about any job without complaint. Keelah likes to help out others and when she has finished her chores she will often spend her time baking cookies for her friends. She delivers them in boxes wrapped in colourful paper no matter what the season.
History: Keelah works as a cookie baker at a local grocery store. She has been there quite a while and her memories from her early life are very vague. She lived alone until she found the cake containing Pepper on the street, in a box that looked like it had been dropped hastily and forgotten.

Personality: Pepper is a much calmer, cooler Heila than her friend Keelah. As Keelah's helper, she often is forced to tag along with her, usually just to carry supplies and the like. She is definitely not as energetic either, and she will complain if she is getting tired or if she doesn't want to do something. When meeting others she is a little timid, preferring to stay back unless someone invites her into a conversation. Pepper has a strange inability to bake anything. She usually ruins recipes or burns what she makes. But her true talent shines when she has an icing bag in her hands. Her decorations could rival any great chef.
History: Though she was found as a cake and raised by Keelah, their relationship is more like best friends than mother/daughter. As a youngster she was disappointed that she couldn't bake like Keelah could, and it discouraged her. But one day Keelah was in a hurry and didn't have time to decorate her cookies. Pepper decided to help even though she thought she would make a mess of them. It turned out that decorating is her forte!

Personality: An easy-going guy who can't take anything seriously. He likes to play pranks and sneak up on others with the goal of startling them. He seems to have a 'sixth sense' as well. If he thinks he will be asked to help someone with a chore, he will immediately make an excuse to get out of there as quickly as possible. Phaid is extremely lazy, and if something is strenuous or boring, he avoids it like a plague. He puts more energy into avoiding work than it would take to actually finish a chore.
History: Phaid's history is uncertain. He seemed to appear one day and doesn't seem to stay in one place for very long. Even Phaid himself isn't entirely sure about his origins. Sometimes he will make up stories to appease those who ask, but none of it is true and every story is different.

Personality: When she wants something, Marina will get it. There is nothing she can't do when she sets her mind to it. However, she changes her mind often and leaves a lot of tasks half-finished because of it. She also dislikes hard work unless she can share the burden or dump her work entirely on someone else. Marina can be described as a little self-centered with a huge vain streak. She is the most important Heila in her world and shows it through the way she always talks about herself. She doesn't act that way to make herself seem superior to others; it's just the way she is.
History: Marina doesn't know much about her past. She remembers waking up by the ocean surrounded by docked boats in a place called a marina, which is where she got her name.

Personality: Ferrero is shy and doesn't tend to come out when strangers are around. He is very good at hiding and can cram his body into places you wouldn't think a Heila would fit. He avoids crowds too, so he is out and about more often in the evening and first thing in the morning than any other times of day. Around friends he isn't much more talkative, but he will always have a smile on his face. Though you can't tell at first, Ferrero is very smart and hands-on. If something breaks in his presence he will happily fix it.
History: Ferrero had the unfortunate experience of being very close to being eaten. The people who bought his cake had no idea he wasn't food, so when he popped out at a birthday party chaos ensued. Then he ended up on the street by himself and unsure what to do for a while, until he was finally found and raised by a friendly human and her Heila.

Personality: Krissy's all time favourite season is winter. She can be seen outside in the snow no matter how cold it gets. Though she tends to keep to herself and her own imagination, she is always friendly to strangers when she isn't too distracted for a chat. Her head is in the clouds most of the time, which makes her very creative but a slow learner. She also enjoys singing, but she hasn't worked up the courage to sing in front of anybody else.
History: When she was a little Heila she was taken to a place that was always covered in ice and snow. She only decided to return to the Cafe when she wanted adventure away from the comfort of her home.

Personality: Petrar is an incredibly unstable Heila. She is rarely seen, and when she is, it is usually during the middle of the night. She is prone to mood swings; one minute she could be smiling, happy, and seem completely normal, the next she might be on a crazy rant, or in an insane, unstoppable rage. She really doesn't care about anyone else or what they think of her. Petrar also has an abnormal love for pain. She is fascinated by it and even seems to get some enjoyment out of her own pain.
History: If Petrar had any kind of history, she wouldn't talk about it.

Personality: Beau is a gentlemanly and loving Heila. He is friendly in a gentle way, only speaking up when someone seems welcome to having a conversation. He always seems to have a good word to say about everyone and would never purposefully speak ill of someone. He is the type who likes to listen more than speak and he knows that actions can be more powerful than words at times. Unfortunately, his gentleness can also make him a bit vulnerable. He wears his heart on his sleeves and it is easy to hurt his feelings with nothing more than a harsh word, whether it is accidental or not. Conflicts also scare him, so he often runs away from his problems rather than addressing them.
History: So far Beau has had a very calm and peaceful life. He was taken in by a kind human when she discovered that her Valentine's day gift was more than just a regular cake. Beau helps her out by creating and selling chocolates, and frequently visits the Cafe.

Personality: Isolde's icy cold exterior matches her personality perfectly. She is unfriendly to the point of being anti-social and does not care for others, human or Heila. In fact, she even seems to hold humans in concept. She believes that Heila should be in charge rather than the humans and occasionally goes out of her way to inconvenience a human or a Heila working closely with a human just for her own amusement. It is hard to anger Isolde, but when it happens she can be very out of control. The quickest way to anger Isolde is by touching her hair. It is the only thing she is truly sensitive about and if she thinks someone has messed it up, she will seek revenge.
History: Abandoned and forgotten, Isolde has almost always had to fend for herself. She has never really learned how to care about others because no one cared for her when she was younger.
