A Guide to Role-Modeling
How to be good dictators Crew.
I didn't think we would need one, but Leader-sama insists. So. Welcome to Proto's extremely weird guide to the new Crew.
Crew members should first and foremost, obviously be active. What's the point of having someone who shows up once a blue moon around? Village leaders especially should express effort at commitment. By active, Crew don't have to be on Gaia every day. If time during the weekdays is a problem, they should at least show up once a week in the guild, say hi (it won't hurt!). That doesn't mean the Crew can't go on vacation. Just drop a note.
Pre-requisites
Rulemakers should be prepared to obey their own laws. It's just that simple. That doesn't just go for the village leaders. The Crew should be well acquainted with the rules of the guild and battle system. Also, this is a literate guild. Please observe the dying rules of the English language. Cussing is never pretty, try to avoid it. [Leader-sama's Edit: Unless necessary, IE, you just stubbed your toe. Haha]
To the Village Leaders
Pretty obvious that the villages are still under construction. But besides the basic stuff you need (a citizen listing, announcement thread, maybe even an information thread on rules, city defense mechanisms, and such)...well, offer your villagers things. Events. Interesting places to go hang out. What does your village look like? Dracula's citadel? A Heian era castle? A medieval kingdom? It may also be wide to have a village chatterbox, to prevent OOC spamming in other threads.
Other Commitments
Then there's of course helping new members around. Answer their questions. Try not to growl at them. If there's a question that should be self-explanatory but was still asked, just shove...uh, nicely attach the link in the pm. sweatdrop
The Crew is expected to help around with approving stuff and system contributions as well. The guild is young, so contribution is needed from all the Crew, not just a few. This brings up to another commitment: the Crew Discussion. And don't show up once in a blue moon! (...when Leader-sama gets around to making it...)[Leader-sama's Edit: Its been made!]
Advertising
If you can make banners - by all means do so! That is commitment too. =3 And of course, helping with advertising the guild - either by bumping the advertisement thread (which will be placed up when everything is settled in) or advertising in general.
Conclusion
So that concludes Proto's guide for now! x3
