I love My Chemical Romance. heart They're my favorite band in the world. But the fangirls ... stare I'm part of the MCR Guild and all I ever see is "Gerard is so hawt!!1! I want his bod" It bothers me. stressed I really love this band, and I'm afraid they'll scare me away like they did Linkin Park. I hate Linkin Park now because of the annoying and obnoxious fangirls. mad Anybody else share my hatred for their fangirls?
Update: Since releasing their third album, "The Black Parade", I've found other bands to love. It is quite full of the suck. I'll always like their old stuff, but this new junk is bleh.

I can understand maybe one or two t-shirts, but purses, belts, patches, stickers ... ugh rolleyes I'll admit I have three shirts and a hoodie (and poster) but I'm an old fan. I've accquired all this over a year. I didn't just blow $250 at Hot Topic and turn into an MCR fanboy overnight.

The fangirls for MCR are horrible where I live. Every prep in the school is carrying around thier purse and singing Ghost of You now. They're everywhere! I think Ghost of You is probably the only song they know. Every single they come out with just reels in more and more fangirls.

Sp1ffy, I dunno what I was wearing ... I've had like three different costumes in the last couple of days, but I'm assuming you saw my "burdened sheet" ghost costume.

*groans* I actually fought getting into MCR because I knew just by looking at Gerard that the fangirls were going to be horrid. Besides, the fact that Helena was playing every time I went into Target couldn't be a good sign. But I really love them and I guess you can't help what you love.
The sad thing is, I know that in a few months I'm probably going to be called an obsessive fangirl. I'm into the balljoint doll hobby and I plan on my second doll resembling Gerard. They'll be releasing a vampire version (I think) of the doll I planned to get and after seeing MCR in Spin I knew that's what I wanted my doll to look like. He won't be Gerard, (his name will be Donovan) but I want him to look as much like him as possible, and I do already have a black suit for him. *L* It's just that I already had his personality in my head and Gerard's look fits that perfectly.

Gah. I know how you feel. After the MCR concert I went to, I was so pumped. I was willing to buy whatever MCR merch they had to sell, listened to their songs religiously for a few weeks, and wrote a nice long blog about the concert and how it changed my life. You know they're having their own action figures made (professionally sweatdrop )?

Band action figures scare me. They always look so horrible and it's just another way for fangirls to act out their weird fantasies. (Don't think that about one too long, your brain will rot.)
The only band "action figures" I have are some Gorillaz ones.

mcrfan Oh man when i read that my heart was pounding!!!! heart i had to tell myself that it waasn't true and buu the end when they said that only one hit from 3 cheers for revenge, i knew it wasn't true cos i'm sure that gosts of u is a hit as well. sweatdrop anyways i think that whoever wrote that should be locked away for the rest of their life or get their souls sucked out by the Dementors ( harry potter quote) 3nodding This is an actual quote taken from a fangirl who obviously knows nothing about the band except what she's seen on MTV.
What she's referring to is a fake news article (similar to the Orlando Bloom getting hitched article) telling about the band getting in a horrible bus accident and Gerard Way being killed.
MCR Death Article fake
The article itself is laughable, but even worse is this girl's reaction.

This whole thing reminds me of something that happened to me.
In ninth grade, this new girl came to my school, and she was in a couple of my classes. She was really shy and had a cool look to her, so I started talking to her. Within weeks we were friends. She absolutely adored this one band, Scary Kids Scaring Kids. They were a local band in Arizona, one that had only started eralier that year. Well, in I think March of the next year (that same school year), she took me to a show of theirs. It was my first local show ever and I had a blast. And I became a SKSK fan.
And have been ever since. I own one shirt of theirs, and I got it back in ninth grade at that first show. I don't have either of their CDs.
Well, anyway, SKSK made it to Warped Tour just this past summer.
And at the beginning of this school year, it seemed like everyone and his/her dog had a Scary Kids shirt.
