I can't believe they would do two steampunk items in a row, but it sure does look like it. According to googletranslate rêve rouille means "dream rust", which sounds pretty steampunkish.

nah i think the designers got sick of all the all ready cyberpunk and pure fantasy EI's and are now jumping on the Steampunk bandwagon

Zahwomen Just to spite you, I bet it turns cyber punk. lol Sorry deary, I'll promise you it isn't that. lol Besides, I thought you guys had the Nano. All I'll say from here is we might have some steampunk traits in the near future that'll come from this EI. wink I also would like to announce this will be my final thread in this guild, though I'll still be a regular poster.

I want one just because it's so darned cute. Unfortunately, I can't really spare the $7.50 right now, and there's no way I'm blowing more than 100K on a single item. I'm either gonna wait until I have some disposable spending money, or the item drops in the Marketplace.
It really looks more like it might be a sort of burlesque themed item, what with the French name and top hat.

The way I see it, now that I noticed, I think Gaia is catching on to the theme of Steampunk that is going about. The MC for this month with the Techno Mage and the new EI kinda shows that they are giving this audience more of the items they are probably interested in since the trend is spreading. That's my opinion though, it may not be true to that sense, but you never know.
I love the new item, the hat is simply adorable. I don't have cash, but if I did I would buy one, the colors on the item are great as well.
