Geneticatta was calmly perched on her fence, Disneyana wasn't around tonight probably snuggled up inside with the little humans. She almost missed the older females company, she certainly missed the wild and carefree alleycats. She stood on her hindlegs and grinned as she batted at the windchime hung from a tree.
Finally she sighed and moved to fold her legs carefully beneath her body and closed her eyes. It was time for a little inner contemplation...

He had been bored, roaming the streets once more. The little paws moving with ease and grace. He was an intelligent cat, and he was on the prowl tonight.
Normally, this was his hunting time. But he heard the little chime of the windchime, and his ears perked.
Blue eyes narrowed as he climbed under a little wooden fence, and used his claws to get him on top of it. Once he was situated, he looked ahead.
Another Cat lay there.
"Good day..." He said, eyes cautious.

Geneticatta's head perked up and she grinned at the sight of another feline. She was quite excited to have company over and quickly moved to her feet. "Well well Hello there! I haven't seen you around, you don't live in the neighborhood do you?"
He certainly didn't look like he was from the gentle loving homes that peppered the block, all the felines living in the lap of luxury had a different look to them. She was quite excited at the prospect of meeting another alley cat, she missed her nightly alley strolls. Disneyana had convinced her however, it wasn't worth loosing the love of her people and her comfortable home just for the cheap thrills she got otherwise.

Oh she was wrong, he did live with humans. An adult female, and a little male human. He just preferred not to stay around the house. He was bored there, with the child in school and the mother always working.
After all, they didnt live in the lap of luxury like most others around the town. He lived in a smaller apartment, without much of a backyard at all.
"This area?" He looked around him. He had wandered a bit far tonight. He was in the suburbs, away from the dark cold streets that his apartment was located on.
"No, Im not from here.." He looked back at her with a blink.
"My name is Amorazaan."

"I'm Geneticatta, pleased to meet you." She moved to sit in front of him her tail giving a pleased swish through the air. New meetings were always fun, granted he didn't live in the area, but perhaps he would still come around often enough.
"What brings you out this way?" She tilted her head curiously, most stayed in the junkyard or the alley unwilling to venture near the large human houses kept trimmed enough that one was normally left in the open.

He smiled a bit. He loved it out here. He got free food from Garbage cans, and to be honest, it was so much better than the Kitty Kibble he got at home. It was enough to make a cat travel to fill the belly with easy food.
His own tail flicked, and he too sat on the fence's edge. Somehow cats were skilled at sitting on the tops of fences. He'd love to see a dog try.
"You guys have the best food around." He said, talking more of the trash can than what he was sure she ate.
"Makes for a better meal. More filling than the dry pellets they try to give me." He said, s ticking his tongue out at the thought. He'd purposefully spill the Kibble all over the floor just to spite the Human that gave it to him.
"Pleasure to meet you Geneticatta."

"Oh yeah! My humans love food, they cook for me too! Prime salmon cuts, tuna tar tar, it's all good." She nodded happily, she KNEW that some cats ate from the garbage can, but her pallet was a bit more picky.
"Ohh you get the food from the bag, my neighbor eats that sometimes for breakfast." She nodded towards Disneyana's yard and smiled as she stretched. Of course eating the bagged food meant that he did indeed have humans of his own, people to care for him. Still he looked like he spent more time out of his house then in it.

He stuck out his tongue again at the thought of eating out of the bag.
"That stuff is awful.. I dont understand the use of it." He shrugged. "Sure its for food, but who would rightly want to eat it?" He asked, flicking his tail and standing. When she mentioned what she ate, he licked his lips. He wasnt special enough for that at home.
"So, what do you do around here?" He asked, gazing around in teh darkness, but not much was to be seen around here. There were lights that illuminated the darkness, and houses that went on for what seemed like forever.

She laughed and nodded in agreement, the bagged stuff wasn't good at all. She had stolen a few bites back in her more action filled days. Of course stealing food had just been for kicks, she ate just fine at home.
"Well I don't do much now, I used to explore at night, down the alley, in the junkyard...all around. My people didn't like it though..." She shrugged softly. They hadn't liked her breaking glass, or tearing the curtains, or any number of things. It wouldn't have mattered to her, except that Disneyana had warned her every day if she kept it up she would find herself locked in a cold metal box forever.

Amorazaan looked at the female with a c**k of his head and a confused look.
"You gave that all away?" He asked . He'd neeever give away his freedom. He was much too happy doing his own thing. Of course, his human hated him inside. She said he dirtied the house.
Which..was an insult as he wasnt that bad.
"Id rather eat what you eat." He said with a nod.

She gave a slight shrug. "I still go out, just not at night...I get my own yard, good food, and my people love me. I miss it sometimes, but I could loose so much more for that taste of adventure, a taste I already had...maybe I should leave it at that."
It was hard for her to accept her new more docile life, but she did try and as long as she wasn't tempted to slip off in the night or destroy the inside of her beautiful home anymore with her antics then it was all well.
"I like my food, and thats another reason I've changed my ways, it makes my humans happy, happy humans give lots of ear scratches, food, and they keep the inside warm."

He shuddered. He wished thats how his humans were. If they were more like that, he might not feel so strongly that he was born to be a street cat. His little Human boy pulled his tail, leaving the cat to shriek into another room.
No..His humans were not good for ear scritches and such. His humans were good for pretty much, nothing.
"Well its good that you know that. It could be bad if you lived there, and dreamt of living some other life." He said, licking his paw.

"I used to, but...I was helped to realize just how good I had it, now I know I would have been unhappy if I had thrown it all away." She nodded softly before giving a slight grin.
"Of course, I do still miss the sneaky sensation, the thrill of a fast pulled prank..." She sighed before glancing back at her warm brightly lit home.
"Hmm...maybe we could slip inside, and get you some salmon. I know where it is, inside the big cold box! I've never ever gotten it open before, but maybe between the two of us..." She smirked her eyes gleaming.

Oh now she was talking his language. He smiled, giving a nod, jumping down from the wooden fence with ease, landing gracefully on his feet. He looked up at her with mischevious gaze.
"If you think you wont get in trouble.." But truth was, he was hoping she'd do it anyway..The thought of salmon made his mouth salivate.
"But I would looove salmon.." Truth be told, he wasnt sure he had ever eaten it before..But he sure as hell would take free food.

"Can't get in trouble if you don't get caught!" She grinned and moved along her body no longer a little sitting ball, now her spine was gracefully arched as she slunk back into the house. It was easy for her collar opened a small door and allowed her inside of the pretty wood paneled kitchen.
"It's in there..." She grinned up at a huge metal box, it hummed with energy and the ice-maker glowed in the dim kitchen. The surface was cool to the touch and no scent escaped the food prison.
