Who is Mal Reynolds?
Mal is the catpain of Serenity. He was a volunteer in the war against the alliance and the independance (browncoats). Of course, our Mal was a browncoat and, of course, they lost sad . Never fret, everything is Shiny! Mal just got himself a firefly and got him a crew and now makes a living by stealing. He holds his crew above everything else.

Zoe

Who is Zoe Washburne?
Zoe is the first mate on Serenity. She's married to Wash (who she met on the ship) but she acts as the more dominate spouce. She's fast with a gun and always respects Mal (and makes sure to call him 'sir').

Wash

Played By: Alan Tudyk

Who is Hoban "Wash" Washburne?
He is the piolot of Serenity. He loves to play with his dinosuar figures. Despite that, he's the best piolot there is, pulling off many stunts like, "the crazy ivon" without (too much) flaw. Of course, he is married to Zoe and does get the accasional jeleosy between her's and Mal's relationship (check out "War Stories") But just remember, he's a "...a leafe on the wind, watch how [he] soars"!

Who is Inara Serra?
She is a companion. Well... what exactly is a companion... lets just say that at least it's legal in the Fireflyvers. Because of her, Firefly is able to land in many cities without too much questioning from The Alliance. However, we all know that the only man she really loves is Mal.

Who is Jayne Cobb?
The Hero of Cantan, of course! He signed on to be a crew member of Serenity to shoot people and to be a bad guy. He his one true love is Vira, (sorry if I spelled it wrong) his huge gun. He mostly protects the crew, well... when he's not trying to turn River and Simon in to the alliance for money.

Who is Kaylee Frye?
Kaylee is the ship's engineer. She acts almost like a daughter or little sister to Mal (he actually calls her "Mei-mei" which means "little sister"). She really likes Simon, but they come from two different worlds. She took it upon herself to help decorate Serenity and you can always tell what room is her's (the one with lights and the big "Kaylee" sign)

Simon loves his little sister, River, dearly and spent all of his money to get get her out of the alliance's hands. He works on Serenity as the doctor. He likes Kaylee, but never says anything or does anything because he's too busy trying to help River get better.

River

Who is River Tam?
River is the little sister of Simon. Simon might be smart, but River is scary smart. She was correcting textbooks and her older brother's homework when she lived at home. Her parents found this "acedmy" for her and River wanted to go. Little did anyone know it was a secret government project. Now, River suffers from being a little crazy after what the alliance had done to her. She looks to Simon for protection, although she's the real fighter.

Who is Shepherd Book?
Shepherd is just that; a shepherd. He preaches and looks over the crew of Serenity. He did get a little mad at River for "fixing" his Bible, but the really interesting thing about him is that he has a dark past that nobody knows about. How does he know how to shoot off guns? (War stories) "I wasn't born a shepherd," he tells Mal, which leads you to believe that he has something to hide.
