Ever had a crush or an infatuation with someone you knew you were incompatible with? For example, you know you both could never be in a relationship with the other, yet there is still this odd chemistry/sexual tension/attraction between you on some level. (Does that make sense?)

I'm not sure about that...I've dated someone I was incompatible with, but I think that's different. And I've thought people I would definitely never work out with were cute, but I'm not sure that's the same either.
I don't think I've ever seriously seriously crushed on someone I would have been a really bad match with, though. How we'd fit together tends to filter into how much I like someone in that way, and I tend to get turned off when I realize we would never work. Have lost a few crushes through that kind of realization. :]

kageling I don't think I've ever seriously seriously crushed on someone I would have been a really bad match with, though. How we'd fit together tends to filter into how much I like someone in that way, and I tend to get turned off when I realize we would never work. Have lost a few crushes through that kind of realization. :] That's interesting. I go through a similar process though recently my crush for a particular straight individual comes and goes because of that. Not always there, but it certain qualities about her have me on a leash. Haw!

yeah,that's actually happening to me right now. XD I really like her,but she's straight.My friends say that you never know,but that's pretty incompatible,right? We're good friends,though.

Tbh, I've never had that issue o.o Well, sort of... at the time, the person seemed compatible, but then, he was too precocious and I was still young and innocent and not wanting that to change. Yet after realizing that, I still had a thing with/for him. It didn't end well.

Yes, definitly. Like...there's this guy in my gym class (I'm bi), and we keep on like....staring at each other, like, alot and.... I don't know, we don't actually do that much, but...we've barely talked, and he'll always take my side in random things, but we'd be an awful, awful match, so I just forgot about it, mostly.
