Nestled in a part of the lush Gaiohan forest lay a quaint training spot where recently promoted jounin Sachi trained hard. The trees were cut and parted so that a circle was formed, around fifty feet in diameter. The green grass the once lay on the ground has been packed down hard from years of training on it. Kunai, shuriken, and small bells littered the ground and surrounding trees, signs of the effort that has gone into this place.

On this day Sachi Raido stood in the center of his training area, arms folded over his chest, standing silently...waiting...

Gats was walking through the forest she had already been traveling for three
hours, she assumed the trek her Sefu set for her wouldn't be so perilous. She
had climbed up half a mountain and pushed her way through the densest parts
of the forest. The directions she had been given where under a jutsu and as she arrived at each destination a new one would appear on the list out of
a small poof of smoke. She sensed her traveling may be coming to an end
once she could feel a strong force ahead of her, she paused on a tree branch and watched. Seeing it was her sefu standing in what looked like some rural training area she approached him stepping out from behind the
trees.

As Gats came from the trees Sachi's ears twitched. The sound of leaves crackling and branches being pushed aside were heard by him as clear as if they were right in front of his face. His ears twitched after picking up the sounds, in turn causing his bell ears to jingle slightly. The tinging of the bells illuminated his view as his brain interpreted the bouncing of the sound waves. He did not speak a word to his student yet, only motioned for her to come closer.

She stepped close upto her sefu, so that she was only a couple of feet away.
Unsure of what he may do and say she waited silently, her breathing was
quite heavy she was midway panting.

Taking note of the girl in front of him, Sachi reached into one of the pouches of his Jounin vest and produced a very plain and simple black headband. Stretching his arm outwards he offered the headband to her.

"Put this on over your eyes. The best way to tune your sensitivity to sound will be to take away your predominant sense of sight and have you rely mainly on the sense of hearing. Once you are more sensitive to how sound works, you will be able to alter the waves much more finely, like a well trained surgeon."

Gats took the band in her hand an lifted the slanted steelplated headband she already had on, as she did this she secured the black fabric one around her eyes. "Okay so now what do I do?" Not really noticing the difference of her ears, but she did already have pretty well hearing ears being a kitsune.

The soft fabric left his hand, his fist swiftly clenching into a fist. When he was sure that the band was wrapped firmly around her eyes Sachi violently cocked his arm back and punched forwards, aiming right for her nose. Now, a normal person nor a kitsune should be able to hear the sound of a fist pushing through the air, but this was to be expected.

"Woosh" was the only sound that was made as his fist move rapidly towards he face. Only a few hair lengths away from her fragile nose did Sachi stop his attack.

"Tell me, did you hear me move?"

A smirk flickered across the usually stoic face of the co-head of the Seisatsu.

"As expected."

Pulling his hand back an inch or so Sachi flicked out a finger, hitting her on the nose lightly.

"My fist came hair lengths away from your face. You may think those fox ears of yours are in tune, but if you cannot pick up the sound of something slicing through the air, then you are not ready. I want you to pull three kunai out of your pouch and throw them in three random directions. Listen to them cut through the air and try and pick up the distant "plunking" sound they will make as they strike something. Throw them and then find them. That is your task."

Gats slightly embarrased and insulted by his remark reached into her sack and pulled out three kunai, she threw them all out into different directions with the same hand. Listening carefully to the sound they maid and the landing noise. She was fairly unsure on them and could only pinpoint ones round about area. So off she wondered he arms stretched out infront of her checking for objects that may be in the way, she began to move her feet in a circle step as she got to the where abouts of the kunai to search for it with the touch of her feet.
