Pasha padded forwards slowly, with uncertain steps through the dark fog of Oblivion. She paused, and her brown paws, scratched and sore as a result of travel, felt around a sloping hillside for hidden crevices and the like. Finding none, she continued on her way, her stride lengthening as her confidence grew on the smooth terrain.
At least, until she stumbled. She yipped in surprise and fell rather ungracefully in the dirt. When she stood, her fur bristled, for the sudden noise and fall had caught her unexpectedly, but she calmed down soon enough, continuing her journey, her paw steps slow and careful once more.
The fog, usually an annoyance to her and other hounds alike, seemed to have no affect on Pasha that day. She had recently fed and so sought nothing with her moist and sensitive nose, and she doubted another would be close enough for her to hear with her constantly flickreing ears. As for her sight... well, it was already gone. Her eyes were dull and gray and had never known of the light that sometimes filtered on the world and she sighed softly as she thought of it.

Lounging beneath a long dead tree was Marluxia, unencumbered by the perpetual fog during this brief repast like he was normally apt to grumble about. No, for right now his attention was focused upon the tiny petals between his pink-toed paws, tiny signs of life in the generally mysterious realm he resided in. The hellhound lowered his head, sniffing the delicate scent of each flower, ears twitching at the sound of incoming pawsteps with sudden intensity; he recognized it as the erratic thumps of someone's stumble or fall. Never wanting to be caught in this semi-tender moment so unlike him, Marluxia quickly regained his composure, a nonchalant expression set upon his muzzle as he spied the vague form walk his way.
His tail twitched as he watched. The girl (or so Marly assumed) appeared as lost as a newborn, blind as . . . well, as blind as most were in the accursed fog. He decided to amuse him and cleared his throat quietly. "Are you on the prowl for something?" Marluxia asked, having to raise his voice as it appeared she was beginning to wander away from him. More blind than most, eh?

Pasha jumped when she heard the voice of another hound and her ears swiveled to locate the sound. She turned, her ears pressing forward when she dicovered the sound had come from the direction she was heading away from. She faced the general direction of the hound and tilted her head slightly.
"I suppose I am." she replied back. She raised her voice so that it would cut easily through the fog and took a step towards the other -- a male she assumed, by the sound of his voice -- curious to know why the male spoke to her in the first place. Perhaps he just enjoyed conversation or maybe he was lonely. No matter the reason, she was still interested and she took another step closer, sniffing the fog tentatively.

"Then again, who isn't." Marluxia's voice was a beacon in the fog, a deep resounding voice that belied his rather effeminate appearance. Shifting the flowers away with a paw, he slowly pried himself from the ground, shaking off particles of fallen leaves and dirt. "Are you alone?" he asked as the girl parted past the fog, and he could tell from body language alone that there was something peculiar about this one: the way her head may have been turned towards him, but her eyes didn't seem to be truly seeing - pale silver, like the moon. Blind. He could ask for a better disability; best that she wouldn't recognize him if they ever met.

Pasha shrugged at the male's reply, unsure if he meant it as a serious question or not. She could hear him shake and the scent of flowers and leaves reached her through the short break in the fog. This surprised her, as she had rarely scented them in her travels. Most trees were often bare and held little but the occasional bird.
"Yes." she said, ears pivoting. She saw no reason to lie about it. It would've been quite obvious if the male wanted to confirm it. "I assume you are, as well?" she asked, checking with another sniff at the air.

"Always am. I find it very hard to find others in this constant fog," Marluxia replied in a silky tone, a tad deeper than his regular voice so as to further distort his identity lest for some reason it would lead to his downfall - he was overly cautious of these things as a neurotic assassin. Pink hair bounced slightly as he padded several steps closer, taking in the female's scent: indeed, she was alone. "Are you lost? I wouldn't be able to blame you if so, there's hardly a hellhound about now that knows the whole layout of this realm."

Pasha murred quietly in agreement of the male's words, her ears flattening for a moment when she thought about it and all of the hounds who were seperated from their family or loved ones because of it. Her thoughts were cut off, however, when the male spoke again.
"I wouldn't exactly say I am." she murmured. Yes, she didn't know where she was, but it wasn't as if she were aiming to go to a specific location in the first place.
