He'd made sure to create a lush, fertile pod that only he could access through a long series of identifications at the door, as well as all the fields he could throw up including one meant for temporal distortion that would cause portals into the area to open in another realm rather then lead them to his waiting room. The area itself was acres upon acres of green grass and a synthetic climate, one that never changed. The skies were always clouded, little light shining through the clouds. Snow would constantly fall thus making the particular area very cold, though it would never create patches of snow. Black iron gates could be seen all over the place, as well as a single mausoleum that had the initials "A.V." inscribed in it.

Kain would appear once more through the door itself given it only opened to his exact data, down to brainwaves and even personality. He still had the mound of dirt floating behind him. He'd look about and a few meters from the first mausoleum he'd create another, the initials "I.S." present this time. He'd move to open the doors to the crypt-like space, the stone coffin open and waiting. He'd move the dirt into his arms and it would slowly fall away to reveal a corpse, well-rotted. Nearly cradling the corpse he'd slowly move to place it carefully into the coffin, at which point something strange would happen...the missing or dead tissue of the body would reform, and soon it was indeed his little brother...only pale and without life. He'd smile at the site and kiss his forehead before easily lifting and placing the stone lid on the coffin, and at that moment his brother's old gauntlets and greaves would appear on a mini-shrine lit with candles. He'd exit his brother's resting place and chant the Lord's Prayer in honor of his brother's religious wishes, then seal the tomb in the same magic he'd sealed the other tomb and the entire area in.

He'd slowly move through the grass with his hands in his pockets and head down, merely allowing the true atmosphere of his creation to affect him. He'd reach the other crypt and place his right hand and forehead on the stone doors, and at the same time his sword, Sweet Annebeth would begin to pulse a dark violet and even give off a hum. "I pity you, you who looks only to the morrow. The morrow shall never come; do you not see it is forever out of reach? And I pity you, you who lives for the now...are you so satisfied with the now you cannot aspire to the morrow's fruits?" He'd laugh to himself a bit, though he was obviously covering up for something else.

He'd quickly turn from the grave as if in anger and march with great speed, though his steps hardly matched his speed. He'd exit the graveyard back into his office....

"Hm." Caster said quietly. "A sanctuary..." she mutterd. "I can only say so much in my master's place, Kain. This is a matter of urgency..." she sighed. "And it has to do with Spiral." she said softly. "You said you would hunt down and destroy him, correct? The two of you are enemies?"

(( Continuing from last post to Tori ))

"I pity you, you who looks only to the morrow. The morrow shall never come; do you not see it is forever out of reach? And I pity you, you who lives for the now...are you so satisfied with the now you cannot aspire to the morrow's fruits?" He'd rest his hand on the door with the label of "A.V." once again and turn to look at his guest whom would find themselves close to a bench, and though be it cold it would be somewhere to sit. Kain himself would rest on the stoop of the mausoleum, his forearms resting on his knees.

"I bring you here in good faith; I've not even shown my own assistant to this room. Think of my last action...true be it my purpose was merely to retrieve the remains of my brother from that corrupt land, but upon meeting that SCP girl and her idiotic companion once again I gave them fair warning. Think...if I am the leader of a Site, should I not have apprehended the rogue SCP rather then give her advice? Should I not have eliminated the Contaminated right then and there as I've sworn to do rather then explain a Faustine theory?" He'd shake his head and look to the sky, watching the snow fall ever so gently.

"My power is enough to end this world and anyone on it...this I assume is something you do not like, or rather...you're none too happy it is not under your direct control. At the same time I've created a Station that houses SCPs as a Site...yet the SCPs I hold are ones that should never walk Earth...the Archangel Zadkiel being a prime example. This Station, this Site, is a floating Hell; Holle; Nifhelheim; Tartarus; Sheol; Hades; Gehenna; Abaddon...Infernus." He'd sigh and bring his eyes back down to look upon his guest.

"The world is destroying itself, be the Gaian or Terran terrain they live on or the creatures said living on it...war has annihilated most of the world as it is. Honestly it bothers me to think of how far mankind has fallen in a few short centuries. I was born in the dark ages...castles, horses, crossbows and swords...and yet the land was always green. Trees were all over and nothing had the stench of death and decay upon it...well, there were plagued villages, but I'm not speaking in technical terms. Of course back then I wanted to corrupt the land and make it my own, but when I did I came to realize there was more, and skipping a few centuries I'm now here...with all of this power." He'd then stand slowly, his body limping forward a bit.

"And what have I done? I've subdued a cosmic threat and contained it, though from that point I must admit...I was shown things I'd forgotten. Zadkiel's final blow upon me was not seen as those that are not aware of the Violet Flame can only feel it...not see it. He opened every door I'd closed in my heart and mind and since then I've been trying to piece myself together...in doing so I've created this Station." He'd chuckle a bit, then point to his guest. "Do you know why I named it Ragnarok? It's because should this Station ever go out of order or fall to Earth, Armageddon will come early. For the sake of mankind I've come to lock away those that would be considered Demons, agents of Chaos...plagues...and more. While I do love to destroy, I'm not some chaotic being without self-control."

He'd finally come to stand straight, his arms folded and eyes almost dazed given his calming atmosphere. "I'll go nowhere as I've nothing to answer to. If there is a war here, then I've honestly done neither side any good nor any harm...nor do I intend to. But, if you'd like to pretend you could force me anywhere with petty magic, tricks, sorcery; whatever your means...then I'll activate the base and this destruction you fear will come to fruition."

"Very well, Kain, I see you are set in your ways." she said with a regretful sigh. "You would have made an excellent Servant. Too bad about this station though. Asura wants me to relay something to you, one last message."

"Beware the champion of Greece." she said, and then vanished.

"Send Zeus for all I care." He'd laugh a bit as his guest disappeared and shake his head before looking to the palm of his right hand. "I may have had my mind shattered, but if I know one thing about myself it's that I am no servant." He'd run his left thumb over his right palm before forming a fist and looking about.

He'd crouch down slowly, an ominous aura quickly swirling about him. He'd soon become masked in his own black misama and shift into his ultimate form, which currently could not be seen given the eruption of the violet aura and the silhouette of black miasma. It was obvious he had four pairs of wings, though, but one could not make out their texture. With this grand release of power Kain would dispel the binding magics around the station and in essence his own shields.

Once the station was back where it belonged in orbit and its defenses back to normal, Kain would collapse on the emerald blades of grass, bleeding from every orifice back in his usual form, breathing heavily. True be it he could have dispelled the magic in his normal form, he'd used the gigantic amount to help reboot the station as well as activate it. For now, one could easily see the gold markings of the station in space like an eerie moon. For now, Kain would rest at the stoop of the "A.V." crypt.

Rozalin would appear through Kain's shadow, He looked to be a bit sad, she place her fist over her heart and bowed to him. "My Lord, I have activated all the switches for the specimen." She'd then look around and notice that it was a graveyard of sorts. "Please excuse my intrusion master, but are you alright?" She'd look to him a worried look phased over thos crimson-gold hues. It was true she felt something was off, perhaps he just wanted to be alone? She'd sit beside him, in case he wanted to talk.

†Gravekeeper - 01† "Ah, you must be the girl he sired...I can't imagine why he'd go through the trouble of sparring and even gifting someone. But it's not my place as a clone to know, now is it?" She'd met with one of the beings she'd released who was currently tending to the graveyard, making sure all was as Kain preferred. He'd make sure the magic was strong, the snow kept falling and the grass forever green no matter how much snow piled atop it. Above all he made sure the crypts were kept in prime condition.

He'd move from the "A.V." crypt to the "I.S." crypt revealing his rather raggedy attire of a thinned long sleeve shirt beneath a tattered trench coat and a pair of black slacks that had become rather loose. His feet were sheathed in mere black boots one could find anywhere and his long black hair tied of in the back. He'd begin inspecting it, having never seen it before. The initials gave away its contents though, and thus he'd begin to clean, or rather restore it. "So, what is it with you anyway? You seem infatuated with Kain and yet fail to realize your place in the world...but then again, this French woman Annette has all of his attention and she's supposedly some sort of sister to him...but, far be it from my place to question his methods."

She'd sigh realizing he wasn't there, apparently she was seeing things. Then she looked to one of the clone's she released and smiled to him. "Ah, I was wondering when I was going to be seeing any of you." She'd look to the grave with the initials A.V. on it, she'd then sigh and placed her head in her hands. "I am not infatuated with him, he tells me what to do and I do it, he is my master, I care little for who he has interests in." She'd sit up and look to him, "Does Master know that you are all awake?"

"I would hope so given he was the one to give the order to awaken...us. You were the one that threw the switches, weren't you? No...that's not the question you wanted to ask. Just ask what you want; it's hardly my place to judge." He'd look to her with a quaint smile, then move past her.

He'd create a ladder of strange, polished white rock as well as a pick, then begin to "touch up" the A.V. on the crypt, making sure all of the lines were even and no rock was falling from the crypt.

She'd rise and move out of his way, she'd lean against the wall and look to the crypt. "IF you don't mind me asking, who is A.V.?" She felt a strange vibe coming from that crypt and it made her slightly nervous. She'd move from it, and fold her arms across her chest as the snow continued to fall.

"I figured that was the question. The sarcastic, simple answer is Annebeth Valence. Now I'll assume you want details...bare with me. I'm a clone, not the true product, thus areas are sketchy at best." He'd finished sanding and smoothing out the areas he needed to, then jump down from the ladder which would disappear altogether.

"What I understand of it given vague memories is that this woman was Kain's first lover. They fell for one another after several tips to some medieval tavern somewhere, but I can't remember when. Or rather I don't know." He'd move to sit on the stoop of the crypt at which point he'd move his long hair from his shoulders.

"She was a mortal that Kain turned. She was obedient and loving and Kain was demanding and loving. I have visions of Kain torturing her, both mentally and physically, but she seemed to love it. I suppose they were perfect for one another." He'd look back at the crypt with a sick smile on his face, then turn his eyes to Rozalin. "Her end is very sketchy, but I do know that Kain killed her. My apologies if you were expecting me to know more..."
PostPosted: Thu Apr 16, 2009 8:43 pm

She'd look to him and then to the crypt. "How romantic.." She'd shake her head there was so much that she didn't know about her master perhaps this clone could tell her a few things. "So... why did he create all of you? Is his ego that big that he needs clones of himself?"

"We clones? Ah, well there's a far more simple story, or at least one I can remember. One of Kain's favorite techniques employs the use of clones to do this and that, usually to take a hit and thus make him invincible to it for a period of time. When he created the Ragnarok, he realized he needed help because while he could be all over the place, he'd need eyes everywhere at all times. Not one to trust others, he instead made genetic clones of himself each with a fraction of his own power, 1/20 to be exact, and imprinted in us each a unique ability. By doing this he had twenty competent, trustworthy servants to depend on."

He'd laugh a bit and look around his hands shaking a bit. "My unique power is...strange. I can restore anything to its original state, similar to how Zadkiel's violet flame can work. And to further emphasize on our power, Kain did NOT lose any power in creating us. He gave us fractions of power merely to ensure he could do away with us if he needed to."
PostPosted: Fri Apr 17, 2009 12:40 pm

She'd nod her head. "1/20 of his power? Yes.. that was what the Lich spoke of, I guess that would make sense. He is all powerful, but even he needs help once in a while. I wonder how one gains power like he has. I am guessing that it took a while... " She'd ponder for a moment and then looked to the clone. "I see, with great power comes great responsibility. But, I am sure he already knows that."

His lips would form a most amused grin and in the end he'd burst into laughter. "He's no child and thus he has no need for responsibility. It's not like there's anyone to punish him if he isn't responsible! No, he merely knows how to CONTROL it and that's all that matters." He'd stand and move through the grass, having great fun with her questions and comments now.

"He's been to Heaven and gained wings! And to further that power, he fell straight into Hell! He became a fallen. I believe that's the terminology. He emerged from hell as a blood-sucking fallen...and from there, science became an infatuation. Nanomachines, mass cellular regeneration, immunity to pain...but the nanites bothered him! In the end he shed them, but in doing so his body was destroyed...some b***h helped him, some women of draconic heritage who fed Kain the dragon's blood! He kept all of his power, and gained that of the dragons! And from there he went about draining the life and even souls of every race he could find...lycans, faeries, celestials, shapeshifters...and yet in the end he found a way to take all of these scattered powers and focus them into the powers of a single being...the same with his power. In essence, one could argue Kain is his own race!"
