So like... Zoie is chewing on her crib, it's stained a dark cherry color and the stain is coming off. What should I do? I don't know what to do about this...I'm worried cus the coloring is coming off where she's chewing.

I have the perfect solution for you! I've seen this in stores before: Crib Rail Teether. I think something like this would be just what you need. You can get them at Babies R Us, and probably most other stores that carry baby stuff.

Hmm I'll take a look at that but I'm not sure if it's going to fit on her crib it's kinda... wavy?

Hm. I wonder if they make sort of a... flexible kind. Maybe look/ask around?

Still looking. Her crib is a convertible and these don't fit on it. ;-; I've resorted to putting her in her play pen for bed time due to finding wood in her mouth.

Good idea. I'd probably do the same, for the time being.

I'm pretty sure there's other types of the crib protectors out there. Call the manufacter of your crib, they may offer them. Or you may be able to fandangle something yourself.
But if you're worried about her eating it and stuff, I'm sure she'll be okay. I've had my share of chewers (my husband is one, ugggggh!) and turned out okay. Usually it's just for comfort or boredom.

I found this one at Buy Buy Baby's website, and there are a few more at Target.comI like how Target has product reviews, so you can see if other parents liked the product. Some of them got a bad review though, so make sure you read them before you order one.

This is so common! I'm surprised there aren't more products for it. Our baby loved to chew her crib, and back when we were house hunting, we often went into homes with chewed cribs. We just put this clear, flat plastic piece over ours.
If the crib is wavy and hard to work with, would tying a bumper pad around the top work?
