The incarnations of sanction
With whom it bears warm colors,
Eludes what once meant to be
But now expresses emptiness

Once hollowed with tunnels
Now branded to stoning
The very reason to strive
Is a distant memory

Temptation led motive's chain

All that one can see is regret
For those who left her behind
It strangles, restrains
Such is its nature

Salvation never felt so mutual.....

Drastic strums of light
Linger with tangy vapors
Engulfing the pain one feels
All consciousness blends and fades

Yet, ends so distant.

Returning to a shared flow,
Faith gives its ear
Dread it hears, Burning it sees
Yet it offers no room to mend

Talons once sharpened in blood.....

Luminescence, no longer vast,
Casts its beams on thy hand
That unforgetful, taming warmth
How it rescued one's sanity

Now cleansed in pure flames.

This wasn't sung then
But only settled in remnants
Gathering what little strength remanied
To fill the bowl of thought
