Okay, so me and my friend were arguing today of which is better to be: an otaku or a druggie. I said anime freak, she said druggie. i need to know others opinions!

Well coming from an otaku who was a druggie.. Im totally gonna have to say Otaku. Because when I was doing drugs, I said.. pift anime, thats crap.. my friend looked at me.. and I decided to quit drugs..

Drugs are meh, but they make you do stupid things, and sell a lot of things for more drugs, and its a vicious cycle that spirals down...
Anime and stuff. well yeah it costs a lot of money and its super addicting... but doesnt make you super bitchy if you cant watch it that second, it doesnt make you totally paranoid, or change chemicals in your brains.. (unless you watch NGE)
Over all the high you get from being an Otaku is much more favourable then the high you get from a drug, and theres less side affects. You have more of a future being an otaku then you do a druggie.

I'm going to say druggie and point out that it depends on what kind of drug the person is using potheads are funny but crackheads are scary.

I have yet to meet a funny pothead, unless I was doing pot with them. I find them more obnoxious and simple minded. stare

But they can get annoying very easily. I too have experimented and I would say go with anime. It can be entertaining, but it doesn't absorb all that you are into it. Drugs are entertaining for a short while, but then you want more when you're sober. At least when you're an otaku you can live a life outside of it...if you want I mean... Oh, and I found four pictures to add to the topic!    But the fourth was the same as the middle one, just with a different pic...so I decided just to put these three down.

in my experiance of druggies ive found them to be quite scruffy really bad mannered angry generally horrible people who have no respect for anything...
so im gunna say druggies are worse.

Druggies come to the psyche ward and take up a lot of the tax payer's money. Otakus put money into the economy by buying stuff.
Otaku's are better for society than druggies.
